The sun was rising from its nest in the east when Edda's eyes fluttered open. She yawned, stretched and looked around her, the camp fire was completely burned out, and Dru lay on ground with his head between his fore limbs. She turned over on her back and saw Kelvin still deep in sleep. She raised the blanket to look at her body, she smiled up at Kelvin before looking back down and rolling out of the blankets.

She put on some of her clothes and packed up her messy hair together and went in search of a clean pool to wash up.
As she walked through the castle, she began sense something odd, and began to notice it was everywhere, so she decided to discuss it with Kelvin when she got back.

Without much effort, She found a clear pool somewhere in the luxury areas of the castle, took off all her clothes and walked into it. She was Washing up nervously, turning with every sharp sound she heard, which was unbearably frequent. As she washed up she heard the sound of multiple footsteps, then turned sharply. To see Kelvin walking hastily towards the pool.
It was a second too late when he saw her, he quickly shielded his gaze with his hands, and apologized.
"it's alright" she said, sinking till her neck and began wadding out with her arms.
"hey pig... you're not going to wash up" she asked, splashing water at him
"what " he replied looking for something to return the favor with but found none
" well... what are you waiting for" she asked
" or i could come in when you're done " he replied.

After a brief pause, during which she wore a shocked expression.
" get in the pool, that's an order " she asked again.
" i don't take orders from... " Kelvin whispered before getting cut off by Edda
" kings.. kings right...?.... Well lucky for you... I'm a woman " she cut in
Kelvin exhaled and began to take his shirt off.

A couple of hours later they both scouted through the ruins looking for anything that could point out as evidence of what Duncan had done.
Edda stopped at the realization of a thought. From Kelvin's story, the ruins were littered with bodies, but since they had been there, there wasn't a sign of a corpse, let alone a bone.
She brought this to Kelvin's notice and he acknowledged the fact, and told her he was wondering the same thing and began to doubt the source of his information.
They stumbled on the great hall, still searching through the rooms and cracked walls for anything that could point to what had happened.

As Edda arrived at the center of the hall, her eyes landed on a ritual seal, burned into the ground. Then her mind raced back to Kelvin's story about the demon sealed in the hall, it looked like a masterpiece of art, but could it have been a moonlight tale like Kelvin had said. The thought of a demon standing right below her feet sent shivers up her spine. She was going to walk over it when her eyes caught something in the corner on the ground.

There on the edge of the seal was a dark shadowy print on the ground, she moved over to it and realized it was dried blood, that had washed into the passage created by the engraved seal. Just another death scene she thought till she saw another, just up ahead on the edge of the seal also. She walked over to it too and then traced the blood all the way down to the middle that was cracked open from diverse directions, stone slabs displaced. She looked around her and noticed more dried pools all leading down to the center. That was when it hit her.

With a racing heart, the reality of the genuineness of the tale swallowed her doubts. She instantly called Kelvin's attention to it. Explaining what she thought about it to him. Kelvin's face didn't reveal any signs of panic, but the sight was really disturbing.
He dragged her with him as he hurried of to the library to find a book he knew had something about the seal, he did find it in the legends section, he flipped it open till he saw the seal, and began browsing through the write up.
