"Show me" Cyd said with a challenging voice
"Fine" I smirked and took my phone out of my pocket and started dialing Marissa's number
"Who are you calling, Demetria?" She asked a little annoyed
"Ssshhh" I said as I waited for Mar to pick up.
"Hey Demi" She picked up
"Hey Mar, I just want to tell you something..."
"Yeah, what is it?"
"Cydney Vaughn is the most amazing, beautiful person in the whole world. Not to mention how hot and sexy she is" I said proudly
"...Ok?"
"That's it... Bye Mar!!" I hung up and looked for the next contact on my list
"What the fuck are you doing, Dem?" Cydney said smiling a little with a confused face.
"You'll see" I said dialing Selena's number. "Heeey Sel"
"Hey Dem"
"You remember Cydney, right?" I smiled
"Yeah"
"Just know that she's the most extraordinary person I've ever met. She has everything I look for and more. She's absolutely amazing"
"Uhhmm... okay?" Selena cracked up, "You fucked up and now you're trying to make up for it, aren't you?"
"Shut up" She knows me better than I thought...
"Alright Demi, good luck"
"Alright. BYE SEL, LOVE YOU" I hung up and dialed the next number. This whole time Cyd was staring at me trying to hide her grin
"Hello?" Normani from 5th Harmony picked up
"Heeyy" I said happily and carried on with the routine; pointing out how insanely gorgeous my girlfriend is. After calling almost my whole contact list, Cyd was lying on the bed eating while listening to my conversation with everyone I called. I looked at the next contact. Dallas Lovato. I took a deep breath, tapped her number on my screen and waited for her to pick up.
"Hey Demi" I heard her say once the phone stopped beeping
"Heyy Dal!"
"How are you?"
"I-I'm good" I could feel Cydney's undivided attention on me, it was making me nervous
"So what's up?" She asked
"Oh, Uhmm... I-I just wanted to tell you how freaking amazing Cydney is" I swallowed the lump in my throat, "How cute she looks when she frowns and how insanely sweet she is" I smiled
"Are you trying to say you're dating her?" Dallas asked as if she already knew
"Uhm... No, but..."
"But??"
"But I am" I smiled after I got it out. It felt so good to say it
"Congratulations sis"
"Thanks but why don't you sound surprised?" I said curiously
"I already knew" Dal said in the calmest tone of voice, like yeah, no big deal.
"Y-You did?"
"Yeah, it's really obvious. I could tell from miles away"
I laughed, "Fuck you"
She giggled, "Alright love bird. Are you done?"
"Yeah..."
