People start to leave the party as we play pool.
"Hey guys" bruce says walking over to us
"It's nice" pops smiles at him
"What? What, what is?" Bruce says nervously
"You and romanoff" pops nods his head and Bruce gets flustered
"No we haven't- that wasn't.." bruce tries to get something out
"No it's okay. It's just that she's not... the most open person. But with you she seems very relaxed" pops says and Bruce shakes his head
"No. Natasha she- she likes to flirt" bruce says coming up with an excuse
"Oh come on Bruce that's not true" I hit him lightly
"Look, as maybe the world's leading authority on "waiting too long", don't. You both deserve a win." Pops says to Bruce
"Hah! I won!" Sam says
"Y/n Sam is leaving don't forget to say goodbye" pops tells me
I say bye to Sam and a bunch of others. I didn't realize how many people would be leaving.
After saying bye to everyone it's just the avengers left. Plus Maria Hill, Rhodey, Hellen cho, justin and abbey.
"But it's a trick!" I hear Clint yelling about Thor's hammer
"Oh no it's much more than that" Thor smirks taking a drink
"What's going on?" I ask sitting next to Thor and Justin on the couch
"Clint thinks Thor's hammer is a sham" Justin whispers as we watch the avengers who are now all sitting around the hammer
"Uh, "Whosoever be he worthy shall haveth the power!" Whatever man! It's a trick." Clint waves his drum sticks around shaking his head
"Well please be my guest" Thor states gesturing to the hammer
"Come on Barton" dad smiles
"Really?" Clint asks getting up
"Yeah!" Thor smiles
"Oh this is gonna be good" I laugh and Thor gives me a look
"Okay Clint we know you've had a tough week. We won't hold it against you if you can't get it up" dad says making everyone laugh.
We watch anxiously as Clint grabs the hammer and grunts trying to lift it.
"I still don't know how you do it!" Clint gives up sighing
"Smell the silent judgement?" Dad smirks
"Oh please. I'd like to see you try dad" I stick my tongue out at him. He takes the challenge and stands up unbuttoning his suit
"Great here we go" Nat smiles drinking
"Okay stark" Maria Hill says
"Uh-oh" Rhodey says nervously
"I'm never one to shrink from an honest challenge" dad smirks
"Get at it then" Clint eggs him on
"Here we go" nat rolls her eyes again
"It's physics" dad shrugs
"Physics!?" Bruce exclaims as dad grasps the hammer
"Right. So if I lift it. I rule Asgard?" Dad asks Thor
"Yes of course!" Thor smiles
"I will be fair. But firmly cruel. Y/n be ready to be a princess!" Dad smiles
[Stark tries to lift the hammer but fails]
"I'll be right back."
[wearing his armored hand, Stark tries to lift the hammer again and fails]
