Today is the day. The day I say I do, to the man who is my other half.
Those are my thoughts as I wake up peacefully in my silk sheets next to my handsome fiancé.
We all stayed at the tower for the night. It's much easier than going to the farm house.
"Good morning" I whisper in a hushed tone while I watch pietro stir awake
"Every morning is a good one with you next to me" he mumbles with a soft smile
"You know after today there's no getting rid of me right?" I giggle softly
"Oh I'm aware. You aren't going anywhere" he smiles and kisses me
"I don't wanna get up" I say between kisses
"Why?" He asks
"Then I don't get to see you till pictures" I frown
"I'm so excited to see your dress" he says
"You are going to look amazing in a suit" I say
"Maybe we should get a shower in together before-
*knock knock*
"Yes??" I ask loudly
"Y/n it is 10:30. We need to start getting ready!!" Abbeys voice is heard
"Oh shit" I get up putting on my robe
"Wow it is almost 11" pietro checks his phone
"I thought I set my alarm" I laugh
"Hey no worries" Pietro hugs me from behind
"I really won't be able to see you all day" I sigh
"What are you gonna do without me?" He jokes
"Die" I joke back with a smile
We get dressed and Pietro gets dragged away for a while to be with the guys
I'm with my wonderful bestfriends and Aunt Nat! I'm sure my family will be dropping by to see me.
"Okay I got you your favorite Starbucks order. I already have everything ready to do your hair!" Abbey sits me down and hands me my Starbucks
"Thank you" I smile taking a sip
"I'm here! I have the bridal party attire!" Nat smiles coming in with garment bags in hand
"Bring it here!!" Justin cheers happily
"I can't wait to put my dress on" abbey nods as she brushes my hair
"I also got the bouquet and petals from the shop" Nat smiles showing us my bouquet full of my favorite flowers
"It's beautiful" I tear up
"Oh girl you're lucky I haven't done your makeup yet" abbey laughs handing me a tissue
"I don't mean to cry, it's just all of you being here makes me so happy" I laugh with abbey
"It's going to be a wonderful day" Nat comes over and kisses my head
Abbey works on my hair and makeup for a long time until it's absolutely perfect.
Justin has been taking pictures and taking videos on the camcorder
"Come on I mean I've been wanting them to get married for years! I saw them grow together" Nat smiles through laughter as we reminisce
"You and every other avenger!" I laugh
"Don't forget us, we know what you and Pietro do when you say 'I'm busy tonight sorry guys'" Justin giggles
"True! I mean what a loser missing out on Justin and abbey time" abbey jokes along
"Come on guys" I roll my eyes laughing
After a few drinks and fun chatting it's time.
"Oh wow" Nat smiles seeing me in my dress
"Y/n that dress is so made for you, he's gonna melt when he sees it" abbey cheers
"It's a slay" Justin nods
"Is flash coming?" I ask Justin
"Hell yeah, he wouldn't miss this" Justin smiles
"Yay! I can't wait to see all the guys. I miss my brothers" I say thinking of Harley and Peter
"Your dad is going to cry so bad" Nat smirks
"Stop that's going to make me cry" I shake my head
We ride to the venue and I go upstairs to wait as the others walk down the aisle before me.
I hear 2 sets of footsteps coming towards the door. When it opens I see my parents, their faces light up immediately
"Oh my god, y/n" pops smile fills his whole face
"Isn't she beautiful!" Dad rushes over to hug me
"Hi!" Is all I can say as I hug my dad trying not to cry
"Hey hey! No tears, not even happy ones yet." Pops joins the hug
"I love the both of you so much" I laugh sweetly as they let go
"We love you too" dad grabs my head and kisses it
"Come on its time" pops puts his arm out for me to take
I take both of their arms and we walk to the doors.
The piano begins to play and the doors open.
It all hits me at once I am getting married!
I make immediate eye contact with Pietro.
God he's handsome.
"Oh my god" I smile whispering softly, tearing up
"You got this" dad whispers back encouragingly
I look to see all my closest family and friends looking at me, everyone is so happy :)
We reach the alter and I join hands with Pietro, he is all I can focus on.
This moment is just perfect.
He looks at me and his eyes are just amazed.
We go through the ceremony and soon enough it's vows time
Pietro goes first
"Y/n, love of my life, as I stand here with my heart overflowing with love I'm taking in the wonderful uniqueness of our journey together. I am so ready to start this new chapter together, I vow to be your safe space, always in your corner no matter what. Today and forever I give you my heart. Your presence in my life is a wonderful gift. I love you and our crazy family"
he smiles through the tears as his accent takes over when he's emotional. I can't help but let a few tears slip out as he speaks.
Now it's my turn. I sniffle and smile at him before speaking
"Pietro, you are the most amazing partner. Thank you for always loving me, even when it's hard. I've become the best version of myself at your side and I wouldn't want to have it any other way. Since the first time I met you I was falling so hard. I vow to keep learning and growing with you, and embrace change. I love you forever and always. Thank you for choosing me!"
I smile and it's so hard not to kiss him yet
"By the power given to me by the state of New York I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride!"
We connect in a kiss that feels so right.
Everyone cheers as we kiss then it's time to walk out as a married couple!!
We go downstairs with the wedding parties and take pictures before the rest of the people come in for the reception
This after party is about to be so fun!! I can't wait.
