I interviewed xxWhoAteMyCookiexx next, because I read her story Big Fat Liar, which now has over 6 million reads, and really enjoyed the quirky and fun energy. I thought the story was unlike most of the books on wattpad, and I would recommend giving it a go. As for the interview; here it is:

Who is your favorite author(It can be on Wattpad or in general)?
My fave author...as of now I have many! Most of them boyxboy writers (not on wattpad sorry) Like, Stormy Glenn, Lynn Hagen etc. Their work can be confusing but addictive none the less. Haha

What inspired you to write Big Fat Liar?
Ah Big Fat Liar...one of my babies. Well one day I was sitting in my car, thinking about the times I was teased for being slightly chubby and stuff. At the time I was reading gender-bender stories and I was like "wouldn't it be great to write a story about a heavy set woman who gets mistaken as a man but gets a happy ever after in the end?"
cause yeah folks, it happens sometimes.
From there the story took off. Zoom!

What was your reaction when you first hit over 1 million reads? How did you feel?
1 million reads. I was like Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I can't believe people like my story!
*buys a cupcake from Starbucks Barnes and Noble*
Cause that's where I wrote most of my stories. Haha Free internet, baby!

Is there anything specific you did to have your stories become so popular? If not, why do you think they did so well?
I have a habit of using shirtless guys for a cover.
Hahaha, cause if I was a reader, I'd be like: "daaaaaamn, who's that hot stud on the cover?"
I'm convinced that my covers are a draw cause hot shirtless men are just mmmmmm :P
Plus I try to make the titles catchy. Catchy titles catches the eye. Get it? :D
I think my stories have done well cause I got better with each story. Less mistakes, etc. And not to brag but i'm pretty good with writing real human emotions. I use that ability to my advantage.

Is there a writer on Wattpad, or an author in general, who influenced your style of writing?
I don't read Wattpad stories, one reason cause I don't wanna be accused of taking someones work on there. I could honestly say "I've never read your story, ho." lmao
Giovannie Storm who was known as Amyscence was the first Wattpad writer to influence me to write my first boyxboy. I've read a lot but never tried writing one until I got to know Gio.
My writing style however is my own little flavor :)

Can you relate to any of the characters in your stories. If so, who and in what ways?
I can relate to Callie in Big Fat Liar. Cause like I said, I used to be chubby and it hurt whenever someone would make a comment about my weight like I had no feelings. Plus I've had a crush on a boy who was completely oblivious to my feelings cause i was "one of the guys". T_T
I feel ya Callie, I feel ya

Before your stories became so popular, could you ever imagine yourself to be in a such a position?
Actually, even though I had only started out, I was convinced that with hard work and being myself, I could draw people to me. I have that kind of personality and I like showing it through my writing. Haha
So yeah, I kind of expected some attention but when I got a lot I was kinda surprised and pleased. I don't wanna take that for granted ^_^

How did you find about this website [Wattpad]?
I actually don't remember how I found Wattpad. I think I must have seen it when I was writing for Quizilla.

Lastly, do you have any advice for up and coming wattpad writers?
Hmmm advice. Be yourself, don't give up, work hard and take care of yourself. Some people get lost in the cyber world. You just gotta remember the real world too. When you get a bad comment, it's not the end of the world. Chin up!
