It was another sunny day in Acteon. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and the sky was a brilliant blue with not a single speck of grey clouds were seen. The city streets were bustling with crowds of a variety kinds of beings as usual and everyone went on with their everyday lives. Life was great and everything was normal, hallelujah.

And then there was Soni stuck in a tall pine tree in the middle of the woods.

"Hang in there, Soni. I'll get someone," Silkver, who was on the ground twenty meters below, yelled out to him.

Soni buried his face in his hands. "P-Please don't, this is embarrassing!"

"I have to. You're stuck, your wings are probably broken, and you can't get down. You need help!"

"No I don't!" Soni then wiggled in an attempt to free himself from the tree branches. It did less than nothing and he was still stuck. He groaned in frustration.

"Told ya," Silkver said. "I'm going and you can't stop me."

Soni just watched his sister run away to get help, defeated. He was not looking forward to having anyone, whether he knew them or not, look up at him in this predicament anytime soon.

Earlier that day, Soni had decided to spread his wings for the first time in almost a week and fly around the outskirts of Acteon. He had said that his wings started to feel stiff and that he needed to exercise them a bit. Silkver eagerly tagged along, even though she did not have the ability to fly along with him. The two did not bother to check the weather for the day and stepped out not knowing of the surprise that would soon unfold before them.

Soni walked out to a high hill free of large trees and slowly spread his white feathered wings. Silkver watched them in awe and jealousy.

Silkver gasped. "Can Iㅡ"

"No, Sil, you can't touch them."

"If you let me touch your feathers, I can let you touch mine," Silkver suggested.

"I don't really want to touch your wings."

"Can I pull out a feather atleast?"

Soni gave her a look of sheer horror. "No! That's even worse than the other two you suggested!"

"Pleeaaase? Dad did it for me, why can't you?"

"Because I'm not Dad." And with that, Soni turned his back on her.

Silkver drooped in dissapointment as Soni did more stretches. She had always been interested in other sky elementals' wings. Even though she had a pair, she was . . . defected. They didn't work like any of the others' wings. Heck, she couldn't even fly with them.

Sky elementals stood out the most of the six elements. It was mainly because the the fact that they had extra body parts and the way they did their magic. Sky elementals could only manipulate, not create like how fire elementals could create fire from their finger tips.

Sky elementals are capable of controlling the air, the weather, and wing transformations. Unlike most elementals, they could transform their wings and use it for a variety of reasons. They could harden the feathers and make it as hard as steel but still light. They could also control each feather as if they were joints. Each transformation required some level of skill to do.

Soni did not practice his element too often and as a result, he couldn't do any wing transformations. But he wasn't bothered too much by this, he was content with just being able to fly and control some wind.

Without warning, Soni raised his wings high in the air and shot into the sky with a single flap. Silkver stumbled a bit from the sudden force but still stared up at him with stars in her eyes. She watched him glide and do flips and loops in the air with all the grace of a swan on water.
