So this is my first story and it's going to be not as good but I'm happy to write my first story. So I hope you enjoy it.
Courtland
"Courtland just listen to your father for once!" My mom yells
"How many times do I have to say this,That's not my father that's your husband !" I exclaimed, I walk away going upstairs to my room not wanting to hear her complain anymore.
"Courtland bring yo ass down here!" ma shouted up the stairs as I slam my room door.
I swear she gets on my damn nerves. I jumped on my bed and took my phone out my pocket to text Jayden.

I plug in my ps4 and put in Madden 2k16 since I don't have anything to do before jay come over.

I opened the door for Jayden and let him come in and he followed me up to my room and he sat on the bed leaning against the headboard as I sat down at edge of the bed picking up the controller.
Handing him the other remoter, "Here."
He takes it from me." what's going on with you."
I Rolled my eyes, "My mom wants me to bond with my so called father, knowing damn well I can't stand his ass."
Shrugging he turned to me "Well court your mom just got back together with him didn't she?"
"Yeah but why would she get back with him again if he treats her like shit, hits her And every time I try to help her she take his sorry ass back the next day" I said ranting
"I don't know man." Jay Said standing up
"Enough about this shit, I gotta go home to get ready for this party later on tonight because I heard my baby's gonna be there" he said smiling
Turning the game off, I turn on Netflix on the tv "Ew, bye."
"Do you wanna go with me and Leian the party it's gonna be lit." He said
"Nah I'm going to stay home and study, watch Netflix And Order pizza later on." I said
Rolling his eyes."Man come on and stop being a goody two shoes for one night."
"I heard Xavier gonna be there" he said smiling
Sucking my teeth" why would I go to a party where he's not going to notice me"
" Because It's going to be fun and I'm going to be there with you and plus you need to live a little fun while you're in high school and you can avoid your mom and dad tonight." he said listing off facts
Picking my phone phone up and unlocking it,"I'll think about it, what time is the party?"
"10:00 ,I'll back with my clothes & I'll get ready here and help you pick out clothes." He says
"Ok" I said scrolling through my Instagram feed.
Picking his phone and keys up "I'm going to pick Leian up so she'll get ready here too." He says
