Oui by jeremih was blasting at high volume through my headphones as I walked towards my locker.
"Hey, there's no we without you and I Oh, yea, ah yea, ah ah yea." I sang along as I walked down grey tiled floor.
My head phone was yanked out my ear."Turn that shit down before you go deaf." Le says
Sucking my teeth,I put my textbooks in my locker."I'm going to cafeteria to get me a chicken biscuit, are you coming?" I ask her
She nods texting on her phone. We walk towards to cafeteria walking through the doors. I go to the chick-fl-a stand and get me a chicken biscuit and a packet of grape jelly.
"Alright, I'll see you later I'm going to look for Zayee ass." She said hugging me and walking away
I walked towards my first block. Already seeing a couple of people here and my teacher.I go to my seat seeing Xavier already there on his phone.
Siting down I put my book bag on the floor next to my desk. I unwrap my biscuit putting grape jelly on it before taking a bite.
"Hey court." Xavier says greeting me
" Hey."I say finishing my biscuit, I throw away my trash and sit back down
The bell rings as soon I sit down and students flood into the classroom talking loudly.
"I hope all of you did your project because it's a major grade and their is no make ups !" Ms. Washington says turning on the smart board
"Do you have the essay." I ask Xavier He hands it to me and I re-read it to make sure there is no grammatical errors.
"Alright who wants to present first ?" Ms. Washington asks looking around the classroom. Nobody raised their hands making her sigh.
"Since I have to pick, why don't Courtland and Xavier go first." She says making me whine as I sunk in my seat
I watched Xavier get up from his seat and walked to front of the classroom before I got up to follow him.
"Tell us who you did and what that person did." Ms. Washington says
"We did Edgar Allen Poe because he was was a classic gothic writer that wrote about death, back in the 1800s that time period was obsessed with death, So he wrote many horror,mysterious stories, and poems." I say
