He asks the nurse who's taking care of him to take care of the plant for him until he can do it himself
He's even named the plant
Once he's well enough, he takes care of that plant like it was his own child
Surprisingly skilled and gentle when it comes to plant care
He gets hella embarrassed if and when his crush finds out
They think it's cute, though, and want to see how he's doing with it
It gives him more time to hang out and try to awkwardly flirt with his crush, so he doesn't really mind them visiting to see the plant
Crush is hella impressed with his plant skills
They offer to give him more plants to spruce up his almost empty room a bit, which he happily agrees to
