Supernatural Academy (First Year)

Fourteen

CHAPTER FOURTEEN 
I woke up feeling hot. And by hot really turned on. Fuck I hate Talia. She got me having these damn dreams about Blake and Ian now. Sexual dreams always involving them both. I sighed sitting up in my bed wiping the sweat from my forehead. I opened the fridge beside my bed and grabbed out a packet of blood. I opened it just drinking it using that to satisfy me. Afterwards I had a cold shower and got dressed in some simple clothes to chill out in the common room in. I kept my fluffy socks on tho. And since I wasn't expected back until Sunday night I wasn't up to going to see my water babies. I really need to give them a name. I'll deal with it later. 
"Its Saturday go back to bed." Ian said from the couch where he was asleep. I walked over and looked down at him 
"Don't you have your own room?" I asked him. 
"I still have my studies to do and I do them with Blake." Ian grumbled his arm over his eyes 
"I mean in the black tower. Don't you have your own room?" I asked him 
"Technically Blake and I are to share a room like last year. But he kinds throw my bed out the window at the start of the year as a way to tell me it's not happening he wanted his own space." Ian said and I laughed at him. 
"I forgot to ask. It's 3 weeks until spring break did you wanted to come home with for the holidays. You and Blake?" I asked him he moved his arm and looked at me 
"Why?" He asked me "Blake and I are broke and have no money so we will just cause problems for your parents." He added covering his face again 
"You know by offering I did intend on paying for you both. You maybe broke but I'm not." I said simply. "But the offer is there. I'll let you think about it." I added and collected a couple monsterology books from the shelf 
"Are you studying?" Ian asked me "on the weekend?" He added 
"This is a hobby." I said with a smile "do what you love as a job and you'll never work a day in your life." I added before I headed back upstairs to leave Ian to sleep on the couch. I got cosy in my bed with five volumes of monsterology music and food. I looked up when my door opened. It was Blake 
"Hey." He said with a smile 
"That was locked." I said bluntly. 
"I was told to come get you up." Blake said holding up a key to my room. 
"Why?" I asked him 
"Professor Floral wanted you." He said I sighed in annoyance before I got out of bed throwing the book on my bed "did you even go to sleep?" He asked 
"Yes. I have even gotten up and annoyed Ian this morning already." I said with a smile taking my socks off and put some flats on 
"He was mumbling about you being awake." Blake said 
"Yeah. I had asked him if you and him wanted to come home with me over the spring brake." I said getting up and grabbed Luca
"Why?" He asked 
"That's exactly what Ian said." I said 
"We have no money to leave." He added 
"Followed by that." I added, "I'm asking so you aren't trapped here. I wouldn't offer if I didn't intend on paying for a few weeks away from the academy." I said simply 
"It's too much Gemini. We appreciate the offer-"
"I have share in a club Blake. I can afford it." I said simply "I told Ian to think about it. You should too. I mean you haven't left for so long so. I'm just trying to help." I added walking out of my room with Luca in my arms. Blake followed me. 
"Get up." Blake said hitting Ian with a pillow and Ian groaned 
"Leave me alone I'm tiered." Ian said rolling over. I just kept walking 
"Tie." Blake said I paused I forgot my tie. I put Luce down and he ran upstairs to go get it since my door had a small doggy door on it. Too small for shifters. 
"You aren't wearing your contact either." Ian said. 
"I am aware. But my eye is irritated so I can't wear them." I said softly rubbing my head. Hurry up Luca. They sight of them in causal clothes is making me frustrated and curious what they taste like. Luca ran downstairs with my tie around his neck and I picked him up before leaving the common room.

I got to the creature room and went inside. I put Luca down and he ran off to go play with his puppy friends. I headed up to Professor Floral who was near the pool she looked at me as I walked up the stairs and she was concerned 
"What's going on?" I asked her 
"The kelpie hasn't come up for breakfast yet. And he didn't for dinner last night." She said softly. 
"I'll go check it out. They could just be missing me." I said softly kicked my shoes off 
"Where's your tie?" she asked 
"Luca is wearing it." I said simply. She nodded slightly before I dove into the water. I resurfaced pushing my hair back just treading water for a moment. The kelpie surfaced next to me launching himself into the air. I laughed slightly as he slashed down before swimming up to me hitting me with his head. "Yes hello to you too." I said with a smile stroking his face. 
"So they just missed you?" She asked me 
"Yes." I said softly before he started pushing me over to his back. "I'll take care of them. Why don't you keep feeding the other creatures?" I said softly. She sighed softly 
"Ok." She said and walked away. I pulled myself into the kelpies back and stroked his neck. Name. He needs a name. He was found in a town in Scotland. Thurso. That's a suitable name I thought with a smile. 
"Thurso." I said softly and he huffed diving into the water taking me for a ride. I didn't mine. It was fun. Thurso took me to the hippocampus. I'm going to call her Ivory because of her colour and how white she is. I swam over to her she was protecting her eggs. I stroked her face and checked her over just to make sure she was ok and she was perfect. Happy to see me and perfect. I finished up and swam out joining Thurso again he took me to the surface and back to the edge of the pool. I climbed out and grabbed a towel wiping my face and roughly drying my hair. I gasped when my clothes dried instantly. I looked up and Professor Floral laughed at me. 
"Blake dropped these off," she said holding my uniform 
"It's the weekend." I said simply 
"You weren't told." She said and rolled her eyes. "There are actually four games thought the year. One for blue, one for red, one for green, one for black. It's the blue games tomorrow and the other schools are showing up today." She said softly. 
"Great." I muttered taking my clothes going to change. Blake knows me so well. He got my stockings and my favourite shoes and he even included one of my contacts. I slipped the contact into my eye before walking out leaving my clothes in the room. I whistled "Luca!" I yelled. He came running to me and I picked him up as he jumped to me.  I pulled my tie off him and pulled it over my head fixing it before setting Luca on my head. 
"You are a damn poster girl." Professor Floral said laughing at me. I couldn't help but laugh back. "I have never seen someone wear the uniform with so much respect like you do." She added 
"It's a uniform. I believe uniforms should be respected." I added with a smile "I'll be back tonight to feed Thurso and ivory." I said with a smile. She looked at me confused for a moment before it clicked 
"Oh you named them." She said laughed "ok. Get going before you are late." She added I smiled and went outside the creature room. I was greeted with pixies and that silver tray. I suppose I was late enough I thought taking the tray stepping into it. The pixies wrapped their vines around my hand and we went sliding down the hallway. Maybe I should get some skates that clip onto my shoes. I thought before laughing. I would be in so much trouble if I did that. I slid down the hallways and when I rounded a corner I ended up having to pull the tray up to the wall because the hallway was crowded with people in different uniforms. Must be the people here for the games. And the teachers who were there that saw me were not impressed like the students were. I laughed lightly before turnings the last corner and jumped off the tray running into the dinning hall. Everyone looked at me as I ran down between the tables to my seat near Blake and Ian. 
"You are late." Blake whispered to me 
"I didn't know until Professor Floral told me." I whispered back in annoyance. He rolled his eyes 
"I would like to welcome the first school who will be joining us for the next four days. The ladies of the blue waters in England." The headmaster said in a loud voice before the door opened again and a bunch of girls in blue dresses entered the room and spread out dancing and spinning down between the tables as blue paper butterfly flew around them. "Lady Olivia is here as their advisor." He added as a woman in a blue dress walked in with a staff in hand and an owl perched on her staff. She had long black hair that almost reached her knees. Bright unnatural blue eyes stood out against her pale flawless skin. 
"Wow She is beautiful." Crystal whispered from beside me. They all collected to the left of the room. 
"And now the men from snow mountains in Russia." The headmaster said out over the crowed as the door opened again and in marched some men who were wearing long cloaks and hats with fur. Each of them carried a short sword with a blue tassel hanging from it. "And their advisor sir victor!" The headmaster gathered, as a guy walked in he was tall and had thick black hair. And he had a handsome face. A snake sat around his neck. Not a regular snake. A basilisk. Only a baby and wouldn't have the deadly stair. Unless he knew the words to control the basilisk. 
"Wow." I whispered before the basilisk looked at me. 
"What are you gawking at?" Ian asked offended. 
"Basilisk." I mumbled watching as he moved down his owners arm. My arm was grabbed and I didn't realise I was getting up 
"Stay away from his companion." Blake said softly
"I'll try." I mumbled looking at him. I rubbed my face slightly. 
"You want to get up close and personal with a snake and not the guy?" Crystal asked me. 
"What can I say? I have my preferences." I said with a smile and they laughed at me. The guys gathered to the right near our table 
"Now that everyone is here." The headmaster said crossing his arms behind his back. "As you know there are three parts to each game. Tonight we select the students to participate in the games and then tomorrow after lunch you will face the first games." The headmaster said.
"Any idea about the challenge?" Ian whispered
"No idea." Blake said softly. 
"Gemini please come see me in the creature room in an hour." The headmaster said and I nodded slightly before everyone was dismissed from the dining hall 
"What did you do now?" Ian asked as we walked out I shrugged 
"Who knows why I'm in trouble." I said simply as we walked down the hallway. I stopped when someone was yelled. It was the victor guy. 
"Nigiri." He yelled whistling looking around on the ground. The basilisk was missing from him. 
"Great just lose a baby basilisk." Ian said simply. 
"I have a feeling someone will find it." Blake said looking at me. 
"I think she will find me." I said softly looking up. I tapped my toe against the ground looking at the basilisk as she hung from the ceiling. I lifted Luca off my head and held him in my arms. I was concerned she may try to eat Luca. 
"Nigiri." Victor called out again 
"Who is Nigiri?" Someone asked 
"My basilisk." Victor said and then the girls started screaming and running away from the area. 
"Hey. Are you listening?" Blake said 
"Not really." I said. They looked up and both of them panicked slightly moving away before she was only a few feet from me. 
"Jesus Christ!" Ian yelled at me. "You have issues." Ian said and I laughed at him. 
"I have no fear unlike you." I said holding my hand up to the basilisk she wrapped herself around my arm before dropping down. I smiled lightly before walking over to victor he looked st me for a moment 
"Thank you." He said looking at me as he took her off my arm "but how did you do that?" He asked 
"I have a way with creatures." I said with a kind smile. He looked at me for a moment and then at Luca 
"A baby Cerberus." He said 
"This is Luca. And he isn't a baby. I use control words to control the size he grows to." I said and he smiled at me. 
"You are human. And in a black class." He said looking at me. "Would there be a chance of you participating in the black games?" He asked me 
"A very high chance." I said amused 
"Maybe we would see each other in the games." He added with a more then friendly smile. I chuckled lightly 
"Gem." Blake said growing agitated by victor flirting with me 
"You won't see me but I'll see you." I said turning on my heel and walking away 
"Could you not flirt with the other schools?" Ian said 
"I was not flirting." I said simply. "I was fake flirting to make him underestimate me." I added with a grin. 
"Don't do it again." Blake said irritated 
"Awe you two are so cute." I said smiling at them. "If you have another private party I would love to be invited. I'll bring the smokes." I added they looked at me for a moment. I just smiled and walked off with Luca back on my head going to the creature room to wait for the headmaster.

I spent an hour playing fetch with Thurso before the headmaster came in. He stopped to speak to Professor Floral for a moment and then she left in a hurry. The headmaster came up to me and looked at me playing fetch with Thurso. 
"What do you plan on doing after school Gemini?" The headmaster asked me 
"I want to look after creatures. Preferably not on school grounds." I said looking at him. 
"If you prove to be a promising student. When you decide to graduate between now and the next four years. I would happily sponsor you to do creature research. Find rescue and relocate." He said softly 
"Relocate to where?" I asked him. 
"Not this place exactly but somewhere similar. Bigger. More accommodating." He said 
"I feel like there is catch to this." I said looking at him 
"Get Blake and Ian out of my school." He said and I laughed lightly. "They don't have anywhere to go or know what they want to do. So take them with you when you graduate I'll task them as your bodyguard or something. Just to get them out of the school." He added 
"Ok. I can do that." I said with a smile 
"Also." He said softly "I want you to stand guard tomorrow at the games. Windegos are involved and it's just a precaution." He added 
"Alright. I can do that too. Is there anything else?" I asked him 
"No you are free to go and do as you like." He said with a kind smile "don't take the basilisk tho." He added and I laughed at him as I walked away. I left the creature room and made my way towards the Black tie tower. 
"Hello." I stopped walking and looked at victor. 
"Hello." I said to him. 
"I had a feeling you would come down this way eventually" he said approaching me he had changed and now wore a uniform that was straight black and showed his broad shoulders. 
"Because it's the only hallways to the black tower." I said softly. 
"Yes." He said softly looking at me "I am victor. And you are?" He asked 
"Gemini." I said with a smile. He smiled at me and reached up touching my face 
"What happened?" He asked me 
"It's a long story. One I don't tell strangers." I said with a smile stepping back "I do apologise if I gave you the wrong impression earlier. I was only interested in your basilisk. I have no interest in you at all." I explained trying to be kind about it. 
"Ouch." He said softly "you know how to shoot a guy down don't you." He said 
"I make a habit of it." I said with a smile "now if you excuse me I am needed in my common room." I said with a smile 
"Blake said you weren't expected until after dinner." He said with a smile 
"That is his way of telling you that you aren't allowed to talk to me." I said simply. 
"Are you his girlfriend?" He asked me 
"No." I said softly "but it's not like that. We are good friends and he looks out for me. I am the only human in the black tower and he is my advisory." I said with a smile 
"So you are obedient." He said looking at me I went to answer but he continued "or are you just after protection because you can't protect yourself." He added I just smiled at him 
"You have a good day." I said and walked away from him. Victor is a vampire. He must be able to smell my blood. Walking into the common room I put Luca down and he ran off. I ran my hand though my hair as I walked though the room 
"Get in trouble again." Jason asked he was on the couch with Dante and they were talking. 
"No." I said simply "Blake in?" I asked 
"No idea." Jason said 
"What about Ian?" I asked 
"Still no ideas." Jason said 
"You are useless." I said simply turning to go upstairs 
"I know you like them." Jason said I just ignored him "you have the same look when you look at them like you did when you looked at me." Jason added 
"I'll punch in the throat if you keep talking." I said without looking at him I turned up the stairs towards Blake's room and knocked on the door. I didn't get a response but I could hear them both in there. I knocked again. No answer 
"They aren't here." Jason said I turned around and looked at him. 
"Did you not think my threat was serious?" I asked him. 
"No I believe you." Jason said looking at me. I rolled my eyes and pulled my necklace out using my forged key to open the door. I pushed the door open and Blake and Ian looked at me. 
"I won't be in tonight. Professor Floral has me out in the woods collecting creatures for the games. Just though you should know before you try and find me tonight because I didn't check in." I said simply. 
"I took the spare key off you." Blake said 
"Yes but I have my own spare." I said with a smile. "And do you really think being quiet would fool me into thinking you weren't here?" I asked before noticing the two beds now. 
"It was worth a shoot." Ian said simply. I rolled my eyes. 
"Anyway you now know I'm not in tonight so good bye." I said and closed the door 
"You know. You aren't-" I smacked Jason in the throat as I walked past him and he dropped to the ground coughing and chocking. I just went to my room feeling better after hitting him.
