"i'm sorry jack, i didn't listen to you."

jack's face had displayed a sad expression.

"you caught feelings for blondie didn't you?"

zach nodded, putting his head down embarassed.

a nurse approached jack and zach's table, with a tray full of food.

"jack avery?"

"yes?"

jack glanced down at the tray and he felt like he was going to throw up.

"that's too much food, i can't eat all of that."

"we don't want you to dear, we want you to taste what's on there so we know your taste in food."

zach grabbed jack's hand on the table.

"you've got this, try a grape or an apple slice."

jack sent zach a small smile and looked at the nurse.

"okay, i will try a grape."

jack ate a small bite of the grape and threw it right back up.

zach ran over and sat next to him.

"yes you can, your body just has to get used to eating again."

jack's eyes became teary eyed and zach wiped the tears before they could fall. he gave jack a hug and whispered.

"i promise you right now, that i will be right by your side for every meal you eat."

too bad zach cant keep promises.
