She looked so beautiful, her hair blowing gently in the wind, her eyes sparkling as she rambled about something, probably the night sky. He loved listening to her talk about it, the passion in her eyes made it worth it to listen, even if he didn't understand most of what she was saying. Right now he was so caught up in how in love he was, his thoughts seemed to tune his best friend out. The cold breeze of the November air made Peter's ears red and Y/N's fingertips numb, but neither of them seemed to care. A gasp from Y/N pulled Peter from his thoughts, his brown eyes looking to her. "Peter look!" She whispered, pointing up at the sky. "It's the big dipper." Peter followed her gaze, only for his view to be blocked by a tree. He shifted so he could see better, smiling when he too saw the constellation.

"The night sky is so beautiful." Y/N whispered, her eyes darting across the sky. Not as beautiful as you. Peter thought, his gaze completely falling on her. "It's so cold." Y/N's giggle made him snap out of his trance, but he smiled lightly. "Want a jacket?" He offered, Y/N declining. "I'll just wrap myself in it while you're wearing it!" She said, cuddling into Peter's chest and wrapping his jacket around her. Peter laughed with her, wrapping his arms around her to keep her close. "Are you warmer now?" He asked, feeling her nod.

She stayed quiet for a little bit, making Peter wonder if she fell asleep. "Peter? Can I get some advice?" She asked softly. "Sure." He responded, moving them so they were sitting down on a bench, her head resting softly on his shoulder.

"I really like this guy. But I doubt he likes me back. How would I know if he likes me?" She asked, making Peter's heart break at the realization that she didn't feel the same about him. "Most of the time it should be pretty obvious but if not, just tell him. No harm in that." He answered, his arm shifting from around her and his gaze moving to straight ahead. "You really think so?" She asked, her eyes lighting up. Peter nodded. "He'd be stupid to not like you though, you're an amazing girl, Y/N." He whispered, noticing her smile out of the corner of his eye.

"Peter?" She said softly, sitting on her knees. "I really like you." Peter's head shot up, his brown eyes widening. "R-Really?" Peter gasped, making her shift uncomfortably as she nodded. "I understand if you don't-" "I love you, Y/N." Peter cut her off, making her eyes widen. The two teens said nothing, sitting in silence until Peter broke it. "Can I kiss you?" He whispered, his eyes dropping to look at her lips. She nodded, both of their faces inching towards each other until their lips met. His hand went to her cheek, pulling her closer while her fingers tangled themselves in his hair. They pulled away for air, both of them breathing heavily, giggling when they saw their breaths in the cold night air. Their noses bumped against one another, making them smile even more.

"I've wanted to do that for so long." Peter breathed. "Me too." Y/N smiled, Peter's heart fluttering in his chest. "I'm freezing." Y/N laughed, cuddling closer to Peter. "Let's go back to my place, yeah?" Peter suggested, earning a nod from the frigid teen. The pair stood up, lacing their fingers together, walking back to Peter's apartment in a comfortable silence.
