You fell back into darkness; you didn't feel any pain. It felt peaceful like it has always meant to be this way.
You felt at rest, finally. After those years of losing people around you, you being a muggle-born. You never told anyone, but you had been getting suicidal thoughts. Not that you would kill yourself, but you wouldn't move out of the way of something that was going to kill you.
On the other hand.
Harry felt like his heart had shattered into a million piece, put back together and shattered again over and over again. Like he had been hit with the most painful curse. Like a piece of him was ripped out of him.
He couldn't think, couldn't breathe. He felt so helpless. How did this happen?
Two people felt different about the same situation. One escaped the cruel reality the other was forced to stay and watch.
