"Keith!? Lance?!" I hear pidges worried voice.

"Are you guys ok??" Shiro asks.

"N-no....Keith's dead" I whisper into the coms. "Keith... Keith? Keith! He-he fell off a cliff-f and i- I couldn't -and I couldnt- I couldn't save him-m. I- I tried-ied" I say panicking.

The floodgates have opened on my emotions and I start to bawl my eyes out. I drop to my knees.

Everyone is asking me questions so I throw the helmet off my head and scream. I scream so loud I can't hear anything. My voice is hurting but I don't stop.

I've lost him.

It's my fault...

It's all my fault.

After hours of lying down and screaming and crying the team finally find me...

They aren't as supportive as I thought they would be though...

Their eyes are all red and puffy and they're faces are angry.

Shiro is the first to get to me.

I stand up and stare at him my eyes full of tears.

Suddenly I'm on the floor again, a throbbing pain in my cheek.

"WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED LANCE! WHERE IS KEITH!? WHAT DID YOU DO!?" he screams at me.

Pidge runs over to me in surprise.

"Shiro! Don't hurt him!" Pidge yells angrily.

"WHY NOT!?" shiro asks shouting. I can feel pidge tense in front of me. "HE KILLED KEITH!" Shiro screams.

"Shiro!" Pidge says her voice breaking. "We don't know what happened!"

"We know enough pidge!" Hunk yells out of no where. "Keith is dead! And lance is the one who did it"

I look up in pain at hunk.

I can't believe he just said that.

Even shiro looks surprised

"You're right I whipser... I couldn't save him"

Shiro tenses up angrily and kicks me in the gut before storming away to his lion. Allura hunk and coran leave too.

Hunk gets in his lion along with the two alteans

Pidge takes my hand and helps me up.

"Lance it's not your fault! If you couldn't Save him, you couldn't save him" she says wrapping herself around my middle.

"Pidge you shouldn't take my side" I whisper. "They're right... And you taking my side will only make them hate you too"

"They shouldn't hate you! They're just hurting!" Pidge says crying.

"They're hurting because of me" I whisper.

I push pidge off me gently and walk to my lion. Red is just going to have to trail behind us..

I spend the next few days in silence. I don't speak or eat or sleep... I just walk around the castle numbly...

Pidge has tried to speak to me, tried to get me to eat but I can't...

She's tried to get the others to stop hurling hate at me but they haven't...

"Get out of this room you piece of shit"

"I don't want to see you!"

"It's your fault!"

"You're a murderer!"
