Being With Lady Althea: Chapter 2

"Sit next to that overdramatic boy"
Mr. Jerry pointed to Adrian Lee.

Adrian, who is obviously shocked by the sudden information, flinched as he somehow felt daggers flying through him.

"Adrian, raise your hand"

The teacher asked dryly. Adrian  was not quite so sure if he would obliged to that order. If he would raise his hand, then Althea would have to sit with him through out the school year. He could surely risk the poor girl's life.

But if he wouldn't, then, he would also loose the chance to make a new friend (even thought it was quite impossible) and also, loose the chance to ask about Athena's well-being.

"Adrian, raise your hand"  He asked once again.

"Sir, are you sure about this?" A student asked out of nowhere.
This fired the student's candle of hope. They, one by one,  opposed to their homeroom teacher.

"That's right sir, we know that your aware of what happens!"

A tick mark appeared on Mr. Jerry's forehead, "tsk, shut it you brats. My descion is final." In response, the student's flinced at the sight of their teacher, fumming with irritation.

Mr. Jerry then looked at every student, then let out a loud sigh. He then averted his gaze to a certain male student.

"Andrian Lee, raise your hand!" Mr. Jerry half shouted; angry at his student's response.

Is it really that hard to raise someone's hand?

Andrian was left with no choice but to oblige to his teacher. Hence, he raised his hand.

Slowly, as he heard his classmates click their tongue out of annoyance.

"Here" he half whispered. Lowering his gaze. He was not really doing this because he was afraid of his classmate's reaction. He was afraid yet embarassed. Afraid of how Althea would react. Hence,  he averted his gaze. Ignoring Althea, Athena's cousin's eye contact.

"Proceed to that boy over there" Jerry ordered the goddess of knowledge, pointing his thumb at Adrian's direction.

Althea acted as if she didn't know this and just plastered a smile on her small, fair face.

Which earned her a couple of attention from the boys. Making them all blush from her innocense and charm.

With all of this ruckus, Mr. Jerry choose to ignore it and went by Althena and closed the door hardly.

With the loud slam of the door, all of the kids averted their head to Althea.

Althea, walked towards Adrian in a normal pace.

But to Adrian, it was as if the world had stopped. If not, it slowed. He gulped.

Why was he was nervous?

Is he Afraid? Embrassed? Or was it how she walked elagantly, lucking his gaze. Never averting. How the little curls empahsized her cheeks? The way she wave and laughed along around her classmates as she walked by them? Is that reason?

Then, she stopped her pace.

"Hello, Adrian Lee I presume? I'm Althea. I'm going to be your new seatmate. I hope to get along with you." She chimed.

She handed her hand  towards Adrian for maybe a handshake or two.

Adrian by now, was sweating buckets. His heartbeat pounding like crazy. Large beads of sweat forming at his forhead. And he was pretty sure his hands were by now sweaty than ever.

"Adrian?"

That seems to do the trick. Adrian was now sent back to his senses.

Panicking, looking back and forth, searching for his towel. He unzipped his bag and rampaged the whole neatly arranged notebooks and books. Some of his books falling down. But fortunately, the goddess was fast enough to catch it.

Althea only laughed at the sight.

"Adrian Lee, you don't need to be that nervous. I won't bite you, you know" she continued laughing for a second. Then, wiped her small tears with her index finger. She went nearer and placed the book at her "new" classmate's desk and proceeded to her seat near him.

Althea gently placed her bag at her desk and comfortably sat, then she looked at her back,

"Like I said earlier Adrian, pleased to work with you." She smiled.

"A-ah pleased to work with you too, Althea" he bowed uncounsiously resulting to bump his head to his desk. Hard. Emitting a loud BAM.

Adrian,  apologized to no one in particular. Which earned him weird looks from his classmates.

"Pfft.. Adrian, why are you apologizing? You're funny" she once again laughed.

Althea, she really does look like Althena. Not just her facial features. But also her friendly demeanor.
I really want to ask her where on Earth Athena is. But, befriending her would only cause trouble.

He then looked up to a laughing Althea.

But, it woudn't hurt to just talk to her a little.

"Um, Alth-

"Hey! Althea, I'm ***"

"Althea, your skin is so smooth. What do you use, Ne, tell me"

"Althea, you're so cute!"

And with that, Adrian lost his chance. Althea was now bambered with questions that she can't even answer. As, one after another, the students came nearer and asked away. Not even caring if they would be answered. As they only want to bond with a certain white-head.

This went on as the bell rung. Signalling that it was now time for their next subject.

Evening came, and Althea was now lying on her back. Thingking about what had happen during the day.

Tsk. Those brats are really ruining my plan. Were they that excited to see a new face in class? Silly Humans.

"Althea, you're so cute."

"Wow, she's so pretty!"

But then, that was the first time someone, complemented my female looks.(well, except for Nike)

Althea then turn to her left side. She was then taken back a when she saw smalln glimpse of the full moon through her window.

The moon is rarely beutiful.

Althea got up, and walked towards her balcony. Picking up her coat on the way.

She gently turned the door knob, and proceeded oustide.

She was the welcomed by a gushing cold wind. Resulting her beutiful  hair to dance gracefully with the wind's command.

I'm still not used to this hair.
She laughed by herself. Little does she know that that a certain dog. Who caused all of this ruckus was secretly looking at the lonely goddess.
