"How are you Irene"I asked as I twirled her around taking her into my arms My 7 year old love "Good, how are you Zi"she said "Good"I told her honestly "I missed you so much"I continued She gave me her genuine smile that I first fell in love with. "Me too"she replied. Irene is my younger cousin sister aka my uncle's beautiful daughter. Sometimes I feel she is my soulmate. I never thought we would click so quickly when I first met her. She was three at the time. I would carry her in my arms for long hours and play with her. However, she had to go back to the US. I felt so sad but after 2 years she came back. The cycle strictly continued but sincere thanks to video calls and FaceTime that I was able to build a strong relation with her. We never lie to each other and I love her to the moon and back. (She taught me this phrase😜)

"Earth to Zi " Irene called out "Sure"I pulled her cheeks and hugged her tight. She did the same. C'mon we deserved one. "How's chaorlette" I asked her positioning to her soft toy cat. "Why are people giving me wierd looks"I asked my uncle "Coz you were standing in the middle of the runway for the whole time"he answered "What in the world! " I exclaimed smiling sheepishly I then moved to hug my aunt. I missed her a lot. She hugged me as I kissed her cheek. "Thank you for receiving us" I said genuinely "My pleasure, let's go" "Sure sure" I followed behind Irene and sat in the car. Hardly did I sit in the car when Irene jumped in my lap. I looked at her "I am going to sit here"she emphasized "That sounds good"I said "Aren't you tired" uncle asked me "Nah! Not after seeing her" "Zi why don't you answer this riddle" "I will try"I told her "Alright, what did one eye say to the other? " I knew it but I chose not to answer "What? "I questioned back "Something smells between us. "She answered proudly keeping her finger on her nose. "So cute"I kissed her nose I chatted with her for a long time caressing her head and I didn't realize when she slept. I kissed her forehead once again before looking at the car window as we passed by unknown destinations. I smiled and thanked god for giving me such a loyal friend. "IRENE"I whispered.
