After hours of walking, they finally saw the 3rd city at the distance.

"Are you sure you're not gonna go back yet?" Ezra asked.

"Yep. I still got something important to do" Kuro replied.

"Well I guess this is where we part ways" Ezra

"Indeed." Kuro.

Ace and the others head straight to the city.

"Now then.." said Kuro.

All of the sudden, she changed into a fully grown woman.

"...let's see what you can do, Ace. Now that an evil entity is here, how are you gonna deal with it" she said as she took a bite at the golden apple.

At the distance..

Ace glanced at Kuro, and she was already knowhere to be found.

"Ace! You're gonna be left behind" Max.

Ace ran towards the others and they all went to the 3rd city.

The city was very lively, and there are various stores and places to relax to be found.

"Alright! I'm gonna go and visit some various places. See ya guys" said Ezra as she dashed through the crowd.

"I'm gonna go and look at some stuff as well" said Max and immediately run off.

Ace and Hansel are left with a lot of baggages on their hands.

"Those two just left us here huh" said Hansel.

"I can see that. Sheesh, let's just check in a hotel or something" said Ace.

"Hotel???" Hansel.

"A place to crash for the night. Got it?" Ace.

"I see.." said Hansel as he writes that down in his small note.

"Well then, let's go"

Hansel nodded as a response.

(Minutes later)

They found a place to stay, and they were about to enter.

All of the sudden, the old book that Hansel found back then, starts to glow.

"What's this?" Hansel.

"I got us our room key"

But when Ace turned around at Hansel, he was gone as well.

"I guess I got to do this all by myself"

Ace carried their baggage to their respective rooms, and after that, he decided to take a break at the balcony on the 56th floor, looking down at the busy streets.

And at the distance, he saw a woman fall in front of him.

"What the-!?" Ace was surprised and he instantly jumped off as well to help the woman.

Ace grabbed the woman and then Ace used his body as a shield to protect the woman from the ground.

Ace hit the ground hard.

The people around were startled.

Ace looked at the woman, and saw that she was injured and when he looked up, he saw someone looking down at them on the 80th floor.

Ace was surprised to see that the person up there has a horn and sharp claws.

And minutes later, Ace passed out.
