I'm staring in a mirror at a girl who is not me
The reflection looking back is just an image people see
There's a lot still hidden and never exposed
So here I am holding my own self captive, holding my own self in chains
I want to break free from who people think that I should be
I'm scared of what their reactions will be
But who should really care, anyone but me?
I'm about to make myself a pact here and now
To be myself
And no one else
