"If you'd please take your shirt off and get up on this bed." The lady says. I can't help but smirk at her. Once she takes off her shirt and lays down she looks at me and laughs. I shrug my shoulders as if I didn't know why she was laughing. The lady puts something on her finger and tells her to relax.

"The doctor will be in shortly." And then walks out. Violet walks up to the bed. "Hey, you're going to be alright. I was scared the first time, but once I found out, I couldn't be happier." Val looks her in the eyes and smiles. I smile at them too. She sits back down.

"Hello, Ms. Moretti. How are you feeling?"

"G-Good. Just a l-little nervous."

The doctor smiles at her. "Most women are." She doesn't smile back. In fact, her chest starts to move faster. Not again.

I pull my chair beside her and once again take her hand in mine. "Hey princess. It's okay. Breathe." She starts to breathe. She smiles at me. "Good. I'm going to stay right here okay." She nods then looks back at the doctor who's looking at us.

"You guys are really meant for each other. Very cute." I look at Val smiling, and she's as red as a tomato. I only laugh. The doctor smiles then turn to the desk thing behind the bed. She puts gloves on then grabs a container.

She starts to spread this stuff all over Val's stomach. It's like Vaseline but thicker. Then it looks clear but a clear blue. Maybe even a hint of green. I have no idea but Val's stomach is now covered in some gooey shit.

The doctor then takes this machine thingy and starts rolling it all over her stomach. "I don't see a heartbeat." I see tears start swarming Val's eyes, her breathing is uneasy again, and I squeeze her hand trying to calm her.

After about a good three minutes the doctor finally says something. "Oh gosh. I found it. That little stinker is going to be a trouble maker." Val finally calms down and laughs. She looks at me. "Just like their dad." I can't help but smile. Then the doctor gasps.

Val and I quickly look at her. "What?" I ask. The doctor smiles. "Look." We look at the screen and see two babies. "No.. way.." I whisper. My jaw is touching the ground right now. All the girls start laughing, including the doctor. Tears line my eyes, and some eventually fall onto my face. Val and Stella notice at the same time and decide to point it out.

"LUCA ARE YOU ACTUALLY CRYING." Everyone starts to laugh again, besides Val. She's crying. "Are you okay?" I ask, concern lacing my voice. She smiles at me. "You're crying over our baby. I mean babies." Her smile grows wider.

It's my turn to laugh. I wipe my eyes and say "Too bad you didn't get it on camera." She smiles. Violet clears her throat behind me. "You did not," I say and stand up. I turn around and of course, she's standing there with her phone in her hands. I roll my eyes. "Gah." Everyone laughs again. The doctor finally wipes whatever shit is on Val's stomach and Val sits up.

I walk over to her bed. I get on one knee.

I lean my lips onto her stomach and kiss it. "Hey, little ones. It's your Papa talking. I can't wait to meet you. I don't know you yet but you already mean the world to me. You and your mamma." I look up and see Val just gushing over me. My cockiness and I get the best of me.

"I know I'm great." She swats my shoulder but starts crying again. "Babe you got to stop crying." She smiles at me. Because I'm still on my knee, she's able to reach my face. She puts her hands on my cheeks. She bends down and kisses my head. Then sits back up. She puts her shirt back on. I stand up and move out of the way and help her off the table.

She laces her fingers in mine, and throws a 'thank you' over her shoulder to the doctor, then guides me to the car. Before we get in, she grabs me and pulls me into her. Then she stands on her tiptoes and grabs my face. She kisses me intensely. Before I have time to recover and kiss her back, she walks to the car. She sits in the passenger seat and waves me to come in.
