How can you erase a scar that heals you everyday?
You make me feel brand new, with the old memories, each in a new, different way,
My closet is full of invisible pictures that once hid my barbie stickers,
All that we've become are shadows we left on the beach on sunset, we've turned to black figures,
I need you back, you know you need me too,
Because I saw those dreams you had in your eyes, the ones you wanted to see come true,
We fell apart, but the strings still hold us together,
Why can't you see that, why can't you realise that our love was meant to be forever,
A forever where you arms are the only place I find peace,
You know we're running back to each other, you took my soul away, an important piece,
Of me, you know that, I still see dreams reliving the polaroids we took,
I wish you would come back to me, so that I could a take a really long look,
At the best mistake I could make,
The biggest risk I could take,
And as my sorrows sing me to sleep,
I hear your voice call me yours and to the feeling of missing you I weep.
