Tonis POV
We drop the girls off at school and have to go in and talk with Heather. I don't like the idea but Cheryl thinks it will fix things.
"Mrs. Topaz, Mrs. Blossom, I didn't know we had a meeting," Heather says as we walk in
"Heather dont you worry, I'll be quick," I say "stop being inappropriate with our girls ok? Alex loved school and all of a sudden tried to not come today. So stop, just do your job ok?" I say
"Oh Toni sorry to hear that maybe I should talk to Alex,"
"No Heather thats not what she meant," Cheryl says rolling her eyes
Heather just rolls her eyes.
"Cheryl, if you ever want to have a little fun in your life you can call me," She winks "But for now I got a class to teach in 5 minutes,"
Cheryl moves to say something back
"Babe, lets go we have the serpents waiting," I say grabbing her hand
We walk out of the classroom.
"Cher, it'll be ok. Mads and Alex can stand on their own," I say rubbing her shoulder
"I know, I know they can,"
We see Alex and Madi talking near their lockers and Cher goes over to them.
"Hey Mom, how did it go?" Madi asks
"Not good, she doesnt care what Toni and I want," Cheryl admits
"I want both of you to stay safe, I'm trying to get a meeting with the principal but its not working right now. Stay with eachother as much as possible ok?" I say
"Got it," They both nod
"Oh, and Tay and Kait are both really shaken up still about yesterday so please, keep Heather away from them. There isn't a reason she should go anywhere near them but I want them to atleast be safe in school now ok?"
"Got it, see you later," Madi says
"See ya!"
We leave and hope that Heather is nicer to the twins today.

Alex's POV

I walk into the classroom and sit at my desk.
"Alex can I please talk to you in the hall?" Mrs. Smythe asks
"Lets go Mads," i mumble as both of us stand up
"This is getting ridiculous girls, can you be apart for 5 minutes,"
"Our moms told us not to be,"  Madi says
"Your moms are overreacting and frankly crossing a line," She says "Madisyn sit down,"
"It's fine Mads," I say rolling my eyes
"But Mom said,"
"I know but mom also knows what we're up against,"
Madi complies and sits down. I follow Mrs. Smythe into the hall.
"Your mother tells me you didnt want to come to school today,"
"My mom is right, you're a crazy lunatic that picks on me and my sister and brings up how you and Cheryl are soulmates or shit like that in any way you can. You have also expressed your want to kill Toni in different situations and its the second day you're our teacher, so ya I didnt want to come to school," I say
"You're just like Cheryl," She says sweetly putting her hand on my arm that I immediately swat off
"Don't touch me," I say and start recording on my phone
She turns back to mean
"Lets get this straight Topaz Blossom. If you dont do what I say when I say in class, we are gunna have a Problem. I will break up your parents, I will treat your sister like shit and you will not graduate. If you tell anyone about this conversation I will break you, literally and figuratively,"
I'm crying now.
"Go clean yourself up, you're disgusting," She spits
She walks back into class and I just sit at my locker crying when another person walks out of the room. Expecting Madi I look up- but it's Chad instead.
"Mrs. Smythe wont let Madi out of the room so she sent me, I hope thats ok," He says sitting down next to me
I just nod.
"What did satan do now?" He asks
"She threatens my moms a lot and I dont know hey it got to me this time but she said she was going to break them up. I dont really know their history or anything so I dont know if that's even en possible or what. Plus she said he was going to punish Mads which really sucks because she always protects me, heck she almost took a bullet for me last year," I say shaking my head "Too much?" I ask laughing
"No not at all, I just didn't know a lot about your family," he says laughing with me
He grabs my hand tentatively.
"I know you have Madi to protect you but I will too ok?" He says
"Ok," I say giving him a small smile
I put my head on his shoulder for a few minutes before someone comes storming out of the classroom. Mrs. Smythe, she walks down the primary hallway so fast she doesn't even pay any attention to us. I thank god for a second before remembering Kait and Tays class was down that hallway. My head shoots up and I stand up.
"Alex what's wrong?" Chad asks
"My little sisters, their classroom is down there," I say "can you get madi and follow me?"
"Ya for sure," he jogs into the classroom as I walk down the hallway
Mrs. Smythe walks into the twins classroom and I stop in my tracks.
"Alex!" Madi says from behind me "where did Mrs. Smythe go?"
"In the twins class," I say "ready?"
Both Chad and Madi nod and we run into the classroom.
"Get away from my sister," madi says seeing Mrs. Smythe talking to KT and Tayleigh
"You three are supposed to be In class," Mrs Smythe says
"Get away from my sisters," madi repeats
"Mrs. Smythe, I think you have a class to teach," Tay and kaits teacher says
She just grumbles and leaves.
"Thanks," I say
"No problem, I was in your moms class and saw how Heather treated them," she nods
"Do you mind if we talk to them for a second?"
"Not at all," she smiles
We nod and bring the twins in the hall with Chad.
"Guys what did the lady say to you?" I ask bending to their height
"She just started talking about how you two are not behaving and how Toni and Cheryl are here to pick us up," Tayleigh says
"She called herself Auntie Heather, but I only remember Aunt Betty, who shot Cheryl remember,"
"Kait that never happened, but you're right for not believing her, she's not your aunt,"
"Good because she was mean," Kait says
"If she tries to talk to you again either find your teacher or one of us ok?"
"Ok!" They say
"See you later girls," Madi says
"Give me a hug?" I ask opening my arms and both of them hug me
"Bye madi bye Alex," Tayleigh says
"Bye Chad," Kait says as they walk into the classroom
"Do you know them or is Kait being delirious and lucky today?" Madi asks
"I play football with Tate sometimes at recess and the girls sometimes play with us," he laughs "they're pretty good,"
We all laugh and go down the hallway back to our class.
"All three of you have detention at first and second recess,"
We just shrug her off. Detention doesnt really mean anything if you have people with you.
The rest of the day was better, we went home and I started getting ready for my date with Chad.
"Hey girls come down her for a sec?" Toni says
Madi and I run down the stairs.
"Whats up?"
"Is Chad's real name Chadwick?" Cheryl asks
"Ya why?" I ask
"Oh, I just knew his dad thats all," Toni says
"His dad died," Madi says confused
"His dad was a serpent, a long time ago, a couple years older than me," Toni replies
"Oh, I didn't know that," I say confused "thats cool,"
I go back upstairs and finish getting ready. I hear the door and go downstairs to see Chad giving Toni a jacket.
"I'm sorry to hear about your dad,"
"Oh, it's fine, he died quite a few years ago so I'm ok now," Chad replies "he talked about you a lot, wanted to reconnect. He told me to give this to you if he ever went away. Sorry I didnt find you sooner, I couldn't figure out who you were around town,"
"Thanks Chad," Toni says "And its no problem, I never really saw your father after high school,"
"Hey Alex," Chad says seeing me
"Hey Chad," I reply
"Nice talking to you Mrs. Topaz-Blossom,"
"It's Toni, Chad," Toni says
"Sounds good," Chad nods
"See you later Alex,"
"Bye Mom,"
We leave and walk down the road to Pops. We have small talk while we get our milkshakes and laugh for a hour or so.
"Alex, I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend," he asks nervously
"I would love to be your girlfriend Chad," i say smiling
We take a few photos for instagram before he walks me home. He only live a block away so he walked home after that.
