Day 18

"It's already the end of the day and you still don't know where you belong?! My god, Kim Taehyung! You are truly your mother's son!" His father yelled and sighed. Taehyung bit his lip and looked up to his father. "Then why did choose me? I have dozens of siblings and you chose me to take your place? Father, why didn't you make Jack the crown prince?!" Taehyung and looked at his servant/brother. "Your highness.." The butler muttered.

"Jack is your real son, isn't he?! I am simply an-" Taehyung stopped when his father yelled, "No more words, Taehyung! Whether you like it or not you'll take over me and that's final!" His highness left the room and his siblings started whispering to each other.

"He's so proud of himself yet he's only been here for days."

"I hate the way father likes him more than us."

"He's such an attention seeker."

"Oh my, Taehyung. It's nice to see you again." The queen greeted. "It's nice seeing you again, my queen." Taehyung forced the words to come out. "Ho ho, your father must be delighted seeing his bastard son here." The queen smiled and wave her fan in front of her mouth as she emphasizes the word bastard. "Yes, your highness. He is so happy that he'll make me the next king." Taehyung gave her shocked face a sweet smile and drag Jack with him to his room.

"That woman is such a bitch!" Taehyung sighed after he settled himself on his chair. "Does she think Yohan will be the crown prince? That stupid son of hers? Pfft! I was shook! Haha!" Jack chuckled along with his brother. "You too! You're annoying!" Taehyung pointed his brother who's looking innocent. "Wha-why me, my lord?"

"You're a prince, aren't you? Then stop addressing me that cringey names! You're also my brother so stop acting like my butler! Just cause father doesn't talk to you doesn't mean he hates you! He doesn't okay? You're his first son, after all!" Jack smiled at the thoughtfulness of his younger brother. "He does. I caused mother's death, after all."

"No, you didn't?! Or maybe you're an illness that I'm not aware of? Jack, I caused it. I came into your perfect lives and ruin it." Taehyung looked down remembering what he had to give for his family to be happy. And the reason why he left, why he escaped, and why he build the Magic Shop. And why he's running away from a certain person. He's afraid. Afraid of rejection so much that he'd rather ran away than face it. Very different from what he asks, right? The complete opposite of who he is in the Magic Shop, in front of Jungkook. He's weak and fragile, he's afraid of rejection and commitments, he hates pain and sorrow, and he hates to feel like a total shit. After all, he's just a human being. Doesn't differ from anyone else.

"It wasn't, Tae. You are the most cutest and perfect little brother I could've asked for. And I thank your mother for giving birth to you." Jack smiled and tries to control his tears that are threatening to fall. "Hyung, I.. if I told you I didn't want to be here or be the king.. What will you do?" Taehyung asked. Suddenly, the loving atmosphere turned into a serious one. "Then I will do everything to make you happy. Taehyung, your happiness is my happiness. Always remember that, hmm?"

'I'm sorry, Kookie.. I think we're not really meant to be.. Thank you for everything.. I love you.. Please be happy and always smile. I love your smile. Don't look or wait for me anymore. I'm sorry.. I love you.' And Taehyung let a smile out.

"Don't worry, hyung! I.. won't ever leave again."

"Jungkook, is it okay to leave things like this?" Hoseok asked as he accompanies his friends to the famous shop for removing all you pain and sorrows away. "It isn't. That's I'm going there and talk to him." Jimin was supposed to come with them but refused saying he's not feeling well. 'He's obviously avoiding Yoongi.' Jungkook rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"What if he's not there? What if he won't come back anymore? What if he-" Jungkook shushed Hoseok up with his finger. "Shh. Stop the negativity. I'm trying to be optimistic here. And no more what ifs." By the time they reached the shop, they rang the doorbell as many times as possible and an irritated Yoongi came out. "What?! No Taehyung or Namjoon here. Leave." Yoongi said and was about to close the door but the two stopped it.

"Where is he?" Jungkook asked. Yoongi shrugs his shoulders. "Don't know. Find it out yourselves, okay? Bye." He was about to close the door again but the two manage to stop it again. "I'll get you a date with Jimin. Deal or no?" Jungkook proposed. Yoongi stopped and thought for a while. "Fine." 'So they are fighting.' Jungkook smiled out of victory. "But it's gonna cost you lots of wanna go where Taehyung is." Yoongi said.

"Why?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "He's not in country." Yoongi said and opened the gate more comfortably. "Where is he?" Jungkook asked. "Bangtan Island. Expensive shit. He doesn't answer my calls and I don't know where the heck Namjoon and Jin are. Probably in a honeymoon. Not that I care." Jungkook paused for a while and think. It is expensive. Plus he have classes and stuffs. "Where exactly?" Jungkook asked. "Don't know. But he goes there whenever things doesn't go his way. Or when he's depressed." Yoongi answered.

"About that date, can it be tonight? Ask him to go to this place." Yoongi said and hand him a piece of paper. "No more questions, okay? Bye." Yoongi said and finally closed the gate.
