I can't even fathom how you people get these two words confused.

It's time for a little grammar session okay? This will benefit you a bunch I promise.

First off. The word "Your" is a possessive. Example:

"That is YOUR bowl of ice cream." Or, "This dog is YOURS." It shows the reader/listener who the object belongs to. Or who the owner is.

Secondly, "YOU'RE" is an abbreviation of "YOU ARE". The apostrophe takes place of the "a".

IT IS NOT THE SAME AS "YOUR" IT IS NOT A POSSESSIVE. IT IS AN EFFING ABBREVIATION.

GET IT RIGHT PEOPLE. DO YOU NEED TO BE SLAPPED?

LAWD JESUS. =___=

*Hands out lolli pops for understanding the difference*
