Jody's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night out of breath, and dripping in sweat.

I sat up quickly, and flicked the bed side lamp on.

I heard rustling beside me then soon felt a big warm hand on my shoulder.

"Honey, whats the matter?" Peter's groggy voice whispered

"Nothing go back to sleep, I just had a bad dream" I told him quietly

He turned his lamp on and sat up beside me

"I'm not going to go back to sleep while you're like this, let's talk about it. What happened in your dream?" He said sweetly while pulling me into his chest

I bit my lip trying my best to hold back the many tears that wanted to slip out

"It's really nothing, let's just go back to sleep" I said trying not to look at him

Ever since I found out about what happened at the Halloween party he went to I can barely look at him the same. I love my Peter, but lately I feel like his mind is elsewhere and he doesn't have the same place in his heart for me.

I didn't want to tell him I knew because I didn't want to start a big argument and be seen as the 'bad guy'. My dream was about that night, I wasn't there but I feel like I can see them on that couch being unfaithful and the image kills me.

"Baby I can hear your voice cracking, you're on the edge of crying. Please tell me what's wrong" he begged lifting my chin to look into my glossy eyes

I glanced at the clock and saw it was 4 in the morning

"I'll tell you later, I really just want some rest. We have a big day tomorrow" I said wiping the tear that slipped before flashing a fake smile his way

He nodded

"That's perfectly fine sweetheart," he started while turning the lamps off and scooting back down under the covers
"now come here." He said with his arms open

I nuzzled myself into his warm hold and squeezed my eyes tightly trying not to sob

I'm going to miss times like this.

Before I knew it I was back asleep.

Lindsay's POV

You were startled awake by a loud bang on the door, you jumped out of bed and ran to see who it was

Of course it was Stephen

"Wow that's surprising, I can't believe you actually got up. I thought I'd have to drag you out of bed. Anyways it's 7:30 and savannah said you take a while to get ready so go ahead and hop in the shower." He said in a groggy southern drawl

"I'm not that hard to wake up, thinking you'd have to drag me out of bed is a little over the top don't you think?" I asked

"Lindsay, we've done it multiple times. You're a lazy girl that could sleep through anything."

"I guess you're right, what can I say I like my sleep. Thanks for letting me have first shower, savannah always gets hair everywhere when she goes first; I swear she's gonna go bald soon she sheds like a dog." I said before heading towards the bathroom
