Being one of the directors of AMA fashion lines, responsibilidad ko na mamigay ng invitations para sa Fashion show namin. It is not an ordinary fashion show, it is for a cause. Ang proceeds ng mga donations na makukuha namin ay mapapunta sa Kalinga't Hiling foundation. Ang foundation for home for the aged.

Ako na ang pinapabigay nila ng invitations, sabi nga nila ako daw ang may malawak na connections sa business world. I am really born with a silver spoon at dalawa lang kaming magkakapatid. My dad is a business mogul. He is into real estate.

That is why I ca'nt blame my dad why he always wanted me and my brother to follow his footsteps. My brother Aaron is now successful taking over 50% of my dads businesses and that is the reason why he badly wanted me to practice my degree of business administration ASAP.

I keep refusing him. I keep asking him for more time. Ever since I came in the fashion industry, ayoko nang umalis. Since bata pa ako, ito na talaga ang gusto ko.

When I was in college, I never really wanted to pursue a business course. But I never had a choice at all. So, kahit nag aaral ako ng business administration I am self studying about fashion designing and also attended a lot of fashion seminars. I also used a lot of dads connections na nasa fashion industry, affiliated my self to them and planned ahead na pag ka graduate ko, I will be working with them. My network expanded and expanded. Mga kaibigan ng kakilala at mga kaibigan ng kaibigan ng mga bagong kakilala.

My journey in reaching the triumph I have now is really a huge struggle. I did it on my own because my dad never supported me. I know there will come a time that I have to face the reality and have to take over the 50% share of our business that is really intended for me in the first place. Pero hangga't kaya pa na si dad muna ang magtataguyod ng shares ko ay mas mabuti yun para sa akin. Anyway, I know that business is his lifeline... I will savor my passion as much as I can dahil pag darating na ang time na yun, I know wala nang atrasan. I would surely be full time and that means I have to turn my back to the fashion world...

Sobrang nakakapagod lang ang lahat ng preparations para sa fashion show namin, its already for Saturday and today is already Tuesday. Pero ika nga when you love what you are doing, it would not seem like you are working at all...

Marami-rami na namang invitations ang naibigay ko pero there are still a few more in my list na dapat kong hatiran. Target talaga namin ang mga big names in the industry. We are aiming to get a new building and purchase new facilities para sa Kalinga't Hiling Foundation. Mas magastos talaga ang foundation for the oldies rather than sa mga kids foundations... imagine aside from healthy daily foods ay merun pang medications and hospitalization. It also require professionals like nurses and PT's.

I am indeed so worn out going back and fortH in the streets of manila to send all the invitations. Now, I have this final and last name to give an invitation to. Tapos na sana to eh, I have to drive pa from Makati to laguna, kaso ang arti ng kumag. I had only spoken with the secretary and she gave me a schedule today 3pm. The person happens to be Mr. Braxton Stone.
