Marinette couldn't find the right outfit. It was cool and it looked like it would rain at any minute so she couldn't wear a skirt because she had no tights and it was too chilly to have her legs out but didn't know if jeans were too casual. He sighed and gave up her outfit to do her hair instead, she sat at her mirror and tried to do something that was cute but didn't say she was trying too hard to she pinned the sides of her hair back and wore the rest down, she ruffled her fringe with her fridge so it didn't look too perfect because she thought it looked weird. Then she went on to but on some neutral make up since she didn't even know what she was wearing. She put on some lip gloss, winged eye liner, a coconut coloured eyeshadow touching it up with a light sparkle shade towards the inside of her eye, then she put mascara on.

Now she went back to her outfit, realising the time she rushed and found some dark blue high rise jeans and found her lucky charm top which was a cropped white top with a ladybug on it, and to make her look look more cozy she put on a dark green woolly cardigan. She sprayed on a bit of Jimmy Choo and then sighed with a smile looking at herself in the mirror.

"Perfect." She mumbled to herself trying to reassure herself and give her some confidence. She grabbed her keys and phone which she put into her bag, then left her bedroom. She found her mum and dad in the bakery, tidying up after a busy day of work.

"Where are you going?" Sabine teased, looking to her daughter who she knew was trying to avoid her.

"Um," Marinette span around to face her parents in surprise. "I-I'm going to the movies with A-Alya!" She lied.

"Oh well you look nice, want to take some macaroons for her? I know she loves them and that saves you from buying popcorn."

"Uh..." Marinette knew Alya loved them and knew her mother would find it strange if she refused so she reluctantly took them with a smile. "Thanks mama she'll love them."

"Be safe Marinette, we love you," Tom spoke softly as he came over and kissed the top of his daughter's head.

"I will papa, love you both, bye!" Marinette left with a wave and waited outside for Adrien who would be there at any moment, she was hoping she saw him first so she could walk up to him so Marinette's parents don't know that she lied about who she was going out with tonight.

After about four minutes of waiting, she saw Adrien turning the corner and she stood there appreciating him for a moment. He was wearing black jeans, a black Lacoste top and a mustard yellow stone island zipped hoodie. She smiled knowing she made the right choice in clothing and walked towards him. When he noticed her he smiled a goofy grin at her and walked a little faster to get to her. As soon as Marinette was at arms length she stopped and was about to say something but Adrien interrupted her by bringing her closer and hugged her. She melted not expecting such a sudden approach but appreciated his thoughts and smiled hugging him back.

He looked over her and then looked at her face, "Ready for your first - technically second - date?"

"Of course," She giggled and Adrien took her hand into his and he lead the way to their date location, of which Marinette did not know.

"The space centre?" Marinette asked looking at Adrien who was smirking.

"In class, you kept drawing the moon, stars, sun and planets on your arm, I saw them and realised you had just told me exactly where a great date would be." Adrien explained and Marinette swooned at his words.

"That's so sweet," Marinette spoke softly. "I love the space centre."

"I had a feeling you would," He said and took her into the large building. They walked towards the reception where they got a bracelet saying that they were admitted in, they looked around at model spacecrafts, spacesuits, they looked at a space vacuum and watched a video on how astronauts live on the spacecrafts, Marinette was amazed by the whole experience, Adrien then lead the two of them to the planetarium. They sat down and was the first ones there so thought they were a little early, so they sat talking quietly to each other as they waited. Soon after, the projectors came on and the chairs reclined and Marinette realised they were the only ones watching. Adrien grabbed a hold of her hand again whilst Marinette laid back amazed by the whole experience. The stars looked so real, they were so bright and clear. Marinette looked over to Adrien who noticed and looked to her too.

"This is amazing..." Her voice was quiet but full of passion.

"No... It's out of this world." Adrien said trying to mask a smile as Marinette stared at him before laughing. "What?" He laughed.

"You're an idiot..." He said jokingly with a smile still on her lips, he eyes were bright and reflecting the stars above them, he looked at her thinking about how beautiful she looked in this moment. He wish he could take a picture, he wished he could remember this moment forever.

After the planetarium, the space centre was closing so the two of them made their way out talking about all the things they had seen.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you..." Marinette spoke, her voice slightly higher than usual as if she was about to tell him something that she is surprised about. "Chloe came to my house yesterday... She apologised to me personally, without insulting me and told me to apologise to you as well. She said it would be better if I told you."

"Really?" Adrien looked to Marinette with furrowed eyebrows. "She apologised?"

"Yeah, and she told me that she knew I wouldn't forgive her straight off the bat," Marinette added.

"Wow, see the thing is I've known her for most of my life and I knew she was acting so weird lately, I couldn't understand why she was saying hurtful things to you, especially when I thought she'd be happy for me, it's not everyday you find your soulmate..." Adrien admitted to Marinette. "I just thought she was acting jealous because you're beautiful-"

"You think I-I'm beautiful?" Marinette asked and Adrien stopped realising what he had said. He looked at Marinette who was biting her lip and he sucked his breath in not expecting it. He couldn't control himself, he pulled her closer and kissed her, making her lip fall out of her mouth and connect with his.

"You're more beautiful than you will ever know my lady..." Adrien admitted as their lips parted. "But you need to stop biting your lip."

"Oh shut up." Marinette rolled her eyes. "How can I stop something instinctive?"

"By realising how crazy you drive me when you do it." After Adrien had said that, they where standing on the path.

"I really enjoyed our date Adrien" Marinette thought aloud with a small smile. "Thank you."

"What are you thanking me for princess? It's what you deserved." Adrien spoke with confidence.

"How so?"

"Because, you have had a tough time recently and I really want to help you push through it." Adrien told her, Marinette wasn't sure what to say so Adrien continued. "I just thought that going on a date really takes both of our minds off the real world and brings us to our perfect little world where we can say and do as we please, no one to tell you that you're not paying attention like in school, no one telling you to help out like at home, no expectations, just us... W-what I'm trying to say is it's nice to spend time with you..." Adrien scratched the back of his head feeling like he had just made a fool of himself but then he caught the look of happiness on Marinette's face and knew he came across the way he meant to.

"I like spending time with you too, it's a relief." Marinette agreed. "And you're so sweet, to say you're a model and a popular person at school you aren't arrogant or cocky, you're down to earth and I like that."

"So it's agreed, we like each other?" Adrien said with a goofy smile.

"Yes." Marinette giggled. "We like each other..." She then leaned in which made him move, on instinct, closer they both closed their eyes as they shared a deep kiss. Adrien put in hands on either side of Marinette's hips and pulled her body closer to his, when they parted Adrien looked at her with such warmth he couldn't help but put a small peck on her cheek, then her jaw, then her neck causing a laugh to come out of Marinette.
