Java With Felicty

"Uh,guys. We kind of have a lot going already. There's the meta human killer that can control a whole swarm of bees?" Barry announced to the gang.

"Cool" Felicity gave a distasteful look to Ray. "I mean,awful."

"I'm sure Caitlin and I will provide ample support,Barry" Dr. Wells reassured.

"And I will be happy to sit this one out." Cisco smiled happily.

"Ray,why didn't you stay here and work on your suit while Barry,Sam and I run to Jitters for some java?" Now we have to have a nice great talk with Felicity,I'm so looking forward to this. I'm not being sarcastic whatsoever.

"Sounds like a plan"

"You two,with me,now" Felicity ordered,and we followed her out of the cortex.

Here's a little update. After a long,and awkward journey,as Felicity refused to let us super speed her there after her shirt was burnt to spreads last time,we arrived at Jitters and now grabbing some java. What made the journey more tense,was the fact Barry and I were texting each other,keeping in mind we were on a few cm apart,trying to figure out how we were to get out of this. We didn't particularly want to tell Felicity that we left her boyfriend with a murderer,but at the same time we knew she had the ability to pry it out of us. I said we should just tell her when she's about to leave,so she can't be put in danger. Let's see.

"You know I left Starling City to get away from the mood and brood,but it looks like it followed me her." Felicity moaned,as we walked over to a table.

"I know. I'm sorry. It's like I said before,now is not the best time." Barry replied. I think we may be going for the safe option,for once.

"And I'll repeat what I said earlier,not at all" I added,sitting in my chair,and sipping on my java. Having to lie to a good friend is hard work.

"Barry,Sam I have been through enough with the two of you to when your holding something back. Is this because I told Ray your secret? Because he is trustworthy. He wasn't to help people just like you." Felicity defended. I didn't particularly care if Ray knew and Felicity didn't really need to explain herself. If she trusts him,i trust him.

"No,that's not what I'm worried about. It's..." Barry paused for a second and glanced at me,looking so confused it was cute. Jeez,my childish thoughts are getting the better of me. "We really didn't want to put anyone else in danger."

"In danger of what?" Felicity said suspiciously.

"Hey,Barry and Sam" Eddie chimed in,out of nowhere so I slightly jumped.

"Eddie,hey." Barry said,glumly.

"Hey Ed" I attempted to sound a little glee.

"You remember Felicity." Barry pointed at the pony tailed blond.

"Of course."

"Hey." Felicity said,cheerfully,almost as if she'd completely forgotten about the conversation we were having. If only that would happen.

"Great to see you." Eddie stared at Barry and I,as if he was waiting for something.

"What is wrong with you? Is everyone in Central City in a bad mood? I thought Central City was supposed to be the fun one." Felicity acted shocked. Well when my parents murderer is still free,I don't know how many emotions I can fake till I burst.

"It's,um.." Eddie tilted his head,as if he was trying to ask 'does she know your Flash and Bolt?'

"Felicity knows" Barry and I said in unison,finally getting the hint.

"Wow. So everyone but Iris." Eddie looked slightly pissed. But if I'm to be completely honest..Well I'm about to say it.

"Seems like it" Barry said,quickly drinking his coffee.

"Hey! I'm on your side Eddie." I pointed at him to show my agreement. He nodded as if he didn't believe me.

"How do you lie to everyone you care about?" Eddie asked.

"For starters,don't think of it as lying. Think of it as protecting her from getting hurt..with a fib." Felicity took over this little 'teach Eddie to lie session'

"But Iris can tell I'm hiding something,and it's putting this distance between us." Barry nodded solemnly,and then whipped out his phone,immediately I feel my phone buzzed.

Barry:Should we walk out? Felicity has this under control.

Samantha: Barry Allen! Walking out on a friend doesn't seem your style.

Barry: Well I've got you to walk out with me so,it won't be as bad.

Samantha: Ha,like I'd walk out.

Barry: I'll make you😉

I put my phone back in my pocket,and Barry smirked at me. The rascal.

"I have an idea. Why don't we all go to dinner tonight? A little wine and dine is sure to bridge the gap. Come on,we all had fun last time." Felicity begged.

"Sure. Hey not?" Eddie said,not really sounding interested.

"Samantha Smith,will you be my date,so we won't be the fifth and sixth wheel?" He chuckled,holding his hand out as if he was going to propose.

"Of course I will Barry Allen!" I said happily,for the first time since the news.
