Chapter 6- Fire

Jimin Point of view

She had placed her hand in front of mine. The melodious sound echoed in the now familiar darkness. I gritted my teeth out of annoyance. At least we could touch each other the last time. "Hey..." she gave me a sympathetic look. I mean she was right, at least we were together. I placed my hand over hers. My touch formed rings in the water like wall. I gave her a crooked smile in return.

We were just sitting there, staring into each other's eyes. The thick silence around us was disturbed, by the sound of our combined heartbeat. The steady pace of our heartbeat was suddenly interrupted. A sting of sharp pain went through my chest. I immediately removed my hand from the wall. My eyes were pressed together out of pain. When I opened them again, I could see Y/N collapsed on the other side.

She held both of her hands around her throat. She was coughing very violently. The sharp pain didn't disappear from my chest, it only spread further to my lungs. I slowly tried to get up. The pain wasn't like anything I have ever tried before.

I was being suffocated, to the point where I was barely conscious. Y/N, on the other hand, looked awful. She was moving less and less. I stood up and ran towards the wall. I hammered my fists against the wall, with my remaining strength.

Nothing happened.

It took all my hits with zero effort. The darkness was filled with the annoying melodious sound. It was like it was laughing at me. I stood back and fell on my knees. I was out of air and energy. When I looked up, Y/N was still laying on the ground. The only difference was...

she didn't move.

The sharp pain in my chest was slowly disappearing. My eyes widened in realization. I was shaking with emotion.

Anger, sadness, and disappointment.

"PLEASE!" I screamed. It echoed through the darkness. I shut my eyes tight.

" I don't know what you are, or why you keep playing with us but... I beg you...show me how I can help her"

The melodious sound filled the darkness once again. I looked up to find the wall shaking. I stepped closer and reached out. The moment my fingertip hit the water like substance, the rings from my touch formed a picture.

Well...it was more than just a picture.

It showed me a forest covered in demon-like flames.

I went closer to the strange creature. When I got a better look, I could see a rock in the middle of the flames. The demon-like flames were licking the right side of the rock. The left side was still only covered in smoke. When my eyes fell upon the smoke, my heart almost cried out loud.

" Remove the smoke" my voice was firm and determined. The picture got blurry and changed a little.

And there she was...trapped under the thick intoxicated smoke. I clenched my jaw. I knew this was my only chance.

"Please, take me to her"

The wall didn't react at all. I placed my hand on the picture.

"Please...I beg you"

Suddenly It dissolved and fell to the ground like a wave. I looked down at the hand I had placed on the picture.

Something didn't feel right.

It was tingling.

The tingling was spreading further up my arm.

I held it in front of my eyes. It was turning into ash. I closed my eyes and tilted my head back.

"Y/N, I am on my way"
