It turns out Robyn didn't have to look far for Hermione and Harry as they were just down the corridor. Hermione was stony faced, conjuring paper birds from the end of her wand and causing them to fly around her.

Robyn saw Harry look awkward, unsure of what to do but looking like he desperately wanted to do something to help. Without a word Robyn approached Hermione and engulfed her in a hug. Hermione accepted it openly and sighed into Robyn's shoulder.

"Is this what you felt?" Hermione asked suddenly, taking Robyn by surprise.

"What?"

"Is this what you felt everyday when you saw Harry and Cho together?" Hermione was close to tears again.

Robyn glanced at Harry, who was looking at her intrigued and a bit guilty. Robyn smiled at him and turned back to Hermione. "If by what you mean is it felt like getting your chest ripped out and stamped on, then yes."

Before Hermione or Harry could say anything else; the Fat Lady portrait swung open and a giggling Lavender and grinning Ron came out hand in hand. Hermione immediately wiped her eyes.

Ron stopped as he noticed Hermione then turned to Robyn and Harry. "Hi, Harry, Robyn. Wondered where you two got to."

Lavender giggled again. "We thought you two were having fun of your own, if you get what I mean."

In that moment, both Harry and Robyn felt a deep dislike for Lavender but both couldn't help the heat rising to their cheeks.

Hermione turned to walk away, the paper birds following her, when she waved her wand and the birds changed their direction; forming an attack formation and diving for Ron.

Harry pushed Robyn against the wall, out of the way of the birds as Ron ducked for cover and Lavender gasped.

Harry and Robyn scrambled away quickly, following Hermione and not glancing back at Ron, who ran away with Lavender, the birds chasing him.

Breakfast the next morning was highly tense. Hermione refused to acknowledge anything and Ron was still all lovey-dovey with Lavender.

Ron was sitting with Lavender while Harry, Robyn and Hermione stuck close together further up the table. Hermione was writing something; probably homework and was diligently not looking at Ron.

Harry was contemplating the couple and even though Ron was his best mate, couldn't help but say. "It is kind of disgusting, actually."

"It's not any of my business. I really couldn't care what he does." Hermione said, trying and failing to sound nonchalant while dotting an 'i' rather forcefully on her parchment.

"And if you don't want to end up like them, I'd be careful if I were you." She continued.

Robyn furrowed her eyebrows, confused. "What?"

"Over there." She said, gesturing to further down the Gryffindor table where Romilda and other girls were looking in their direction and giggling.

Robyn couldn't help but groan angrily. "I bloody told her yesterday that Harry's taken. Who do they think they are?"

Harry put a hand on Robyn's arm. "None of them even come close to you, don't worry."

Robyn felt her heart flutter and she couldn't help but grin.

Hermione let out a weak smile and continued to explain to Harry. "I heard them talking. They've been brewing love potions on the sly and were talking about slipping them to boys they fancy."
