Harumin glared at her grandmother. She remembered the last time she confronted her when she was little. Harumin's grandmother stared at her then looked down at the dragons
"So...you've decided to stay with her even though she's a monster?" Her grandmother asked
"Shut up..." Harumin said
"Don't talk to me like that. I'm your grandmother. I taught you to be respectful" Her grandmother said
"I don't care anymore. I'm staying with Matsuri like it or not. You can't tell me what to do anymore. I'm an adult not a kid" Harumin said
"I taught you better than that. You should've listened to me in the first place. You could've had a better life instead of this dangerous one. I was only trying to do what's best for you" Her grandmother said
"No! You were always ruining my life from the very beginning! I almost died because you told some stranger to kill Matsuri and me! Just stay out of my life! I'm happy with Matsuri! That's what matters the most! Why the hell can'tyou accept it?!" Harumin shouted. Her grandmother sighed and sat down on the couch
"Matsuri's grandfather was the reason why your grandfather is dead. Your grandfather was really great friends with him until...he tried to kill me and him by burning the house. Thankfully we both escaped but...for some reason your grandfather decided to go to the burning house risking his life for him. I never understood why he would rescue him even though he tried to kill us in the beginning" Her grandmother said
"Because he cared about him..." Harumin said
"But he tried to kill us! I hated the Mizusawas after that! I don't want my granddaughter marry a Mizusawa! Especially a girl!" Her grandmother said
"I can do what I want and you should learn to accept things. It's best to just accept things and not live in the past. You just keep hurting yourself whenever you think about the past. Can you at least try to talk to the Mizusawas? We could invite them for dinner?" Harumin asked. Her grandmother looked at Harumin then sighed
"I will never invite those killers into my place. I was only protecting you from her. You don't know how dangerous she is. You do know she's a black dragon right?" Her grandmother asked
"I know but my love for her is strong. I love her the way she is. I can't leave her...we've already been separated 8 years. I can't lose her again..." Harumin said
"Harumi...please...let her go. The two of you can't be together..." Her grandmother said
"We will be together forever..." Harumin said. Her grandmother started talking crap until she felt someone beside her
"Just kill her already..." Harumin's shadow said. Harumin looked to her side and saw herself but in her black dragon form and Harumin's shadow was wearing the Midnight Assassin mask
"I-I can't do th-that..." Harumin said
"Why can't you?" Her shadow said
"Sh-she's my grandmother...she's family..." Harumin said
"Family? She's just sabotaging your relationship with Matsuri. Do you want to be separated from her again?" Harumin's shadow asked
"N-no...I don't want to lose her..." Harumin said
"Then go ahead and kill her...right here...right now..." Harumin's shadow said holding the katana. Harumin shook her head
"N-no! Stop! Get out of my head!" Harumin said
"You better get used to this...because I will always be part of you from now on and forever. So you better accept your new life...but don't worry...as long as our precious Matsuri is still with us...I won't harm anyone..." Harumin's shadow said then disappeared.
"Are you ignoring me again?" Her grandmother asked snapping her back to reality. Harumin stood there with her eyes widen then shooked her head
"No..." Harumin said
"All I'm trying to say is that being with Matsuri is dangerous..." Her grandmother said. Harumin just turned around and started walking towards the door
"Where are you going?" Her grandmother asked
"I'm seeing Matsuri...no one will separate us and if someone gets between us...I will make them regret that" Harumin said as her voice changed slightly. Her grandmother just sat there watching her granddaughter walk away.
Matsuri was alone once again in the dark. She looked out the window seeing the stars and moon. She saw something weird in the sky and stood up from the hospital bed then walked up to the window. She looked at the moon and saw it was still red. Suddenly lightning struck making Matsuri jump a little. Rain started pouring hard while lightning struck. She saw raindrops on the window but the rain was...blood. Matsuri rubbed her eyes and all she could see was blood.
"Blood...why blood?" Matsuri asked herself
"Probably because of me..." Matsuri's shadow said. Matsuri turned around seeing her bad side and she was wearing her Midnight Assassin mask. The shadow sat down on the bed
"Were you the one giving me hallucinations about blood?" Matsuri asked
"Yeah...I was really hungry for Harumin's blood...I wanted...I needed...blood" Matsuri's shadow said.
"What do you want now?" Matsuri asked
"I just wanted to say thanks for defeating our enemies..." Matsuri's shadow said
"Yeah whatever..." Matsuri said. Matsuri's shadow chuckled and stood up
"Before I go...I need to tell you something about our sweet Harumin since she's new with this whole dragon power thing..." Matsuri's shadow chuckled
"What is it?" Matsuri asked
"Well Harumin's black dragon side is a bit more possessive than me and her jealously can take over. Let me advise you to stay with Harumin and give her as much love as possible. She may seem nice and kind but her bad side...hehe...she can turn into an animal" Matsuri's shadow said
"So...she's a jealous type?" Matsuri asked
"Yeah...I enjoy it when her jealously takes over. The pain she gives me just excites me...and her blood is tasty~" Matsuri's shadow said
"So...I shouldn't get her jealous?" Matsuri asked
"Yeah...she does get jealous especially when you're out with someone alone because she'll end up killing them right in front of you or I can just control her and tell her to kill someone I hate or annoying..." Matsuri's shadow said
"Then can you control her and tell her not to kill?" Matsuri asked
"I suppose I could...but that's no fun" Matsuri's shadow said and chuckled. Matsuri glared at her own shadow then walked up to her
"Don't fuckin ruin our relationship..." Matsuri said sternly
"I would never ruin my relationship...but if someone does come between us. I'm taking control...I mean you don't want to lose Harumin and live alone like you did for 8 years..." Matsuri's shadow said. Matsuri clenched her fists tightly then nodded
"I want be with Harumin...I don't want to lose her ever again" Matsuri said
"We won't lose her...trust me. I'll deal with anyone who'll try to separate us..." Matsuri's shadow said then vanished.
Matsuri shook her head and smirked
"Nobody will come between us and if they do...I will kill them" Matsuri growled
