Chapter 13

Matsuri walked away leaving her friends behind and answered Harumin's call
"Hey Harumin" Matsuri said
"Hi Matsuri so...about our date. Want me to pick you up?" Harumin asked. Matsuri blushed deeply and felt her heart pound out of her chest which bothered her a bit
"S-sure...I'll send you my address" Matsuri said
"Okay. I'll pick you up at 8" Harumin said
"Y-yeah I can't wait to see you..." Matsuri said
"Me too. Bye see you at 8" Harumin said
"Bye" Matsuri said. After the call Matsuri was blushing like crazy and her heart was jumping with joy. She turned around and saw Ari was gone
"Hey Tonisha where did Ari go?" Matsuri asked
"She left..." Tonisha said and sighed
"Anyways who called you?" Tonisha asked
"Harumin she said she'll pick me up at 8" Matsuri said
"Okay that'll give us some plenty of time to win her heart tonight now that Sangchul is out of the way" Tonisha said
"Hehe yeah" Matsuri said
"First we need a cute outfit for you to impress her" Tonisha said
"Yeah" Matsuri said. Tonisha and Matsuri both walked away from the park heading to shop for some clothes. Tonisha looked at Matsuri and sighed
"Hey Matsuri can I ask you something?" Tonisha asked
"Yeah sure" Matsuri said
"About Ari...how did you meet up with her?" Tonisha asked
"Oh well I found her in the forest and that's where I met the whole Midnight Assassin gang then I became their leader" Matsuri said
"Does she like you?" Tonisha asked
"Um yeah...she does but...I mean I do like her too but only as a friend" Matsuri said
"Oh...well do you think Ari would ever...you know...become psycho?" Tonisha asked
"Um no because she's a sweet and nice person once you get to know her. I've been with her for 8 years and we kinda get closer each day hehe" Matsuri said
"I hope the two of you don't get too close..." Tonisha said and looked at Matsuri.
"Why do you keep staring at me?" Matsuri asked
"Ah sorry about that...it's just...uh well" Tonisha sighed deeply
"What is it?" Matsuri asked
"I haven't told you this but...you remind me of my little sister..." Tonisha said
"Wait? You have a sister?" Matsuri asked
"I used to...before I met you I was always with her. We played so many games and she was always there for me whenever I was feeling down. We were both inseparable...she was very clingy hehe" Tonisha said chuckling a bit
"What happened to her?" Matsuri asked. Tonisha clenched her fists tightly and stopped walking. She looked at the road and her eyes teared up a bit
"One day...we were walking down the street. A drunk man was driving and didn't stop in time...my little sister...pushed me out of the way...to save my life...the last words she spoke were...'I love you Onee-chan...' Then...died at the hospital...there was nothing they could to save her...there was nothing I can do...to save my little sis...I kept blaming myself for her death because...it is my fault...and I always thought to myself...'why did she save me?'" Tonisha said. Matsuri walked up in front of her and hugged her
"I'm here for you..." Matsuri said. Tonisha looked at Matsuri seeing her smile and Tonisha saw her sister's spirit as well smiling. Tonisha hugged her back and smiled
"Hehe thanks Matsuri. Now come on we've gotta get you some clothes" Tonisha said. Matsuri nodded and they both headed straight to the store. After about an hour of trying clothes on Matsuri found a perfect outfit.
"Do you think she'll like this?" Matsuri asked checking the outfit
"Of course she will. You have nothing to worry about. You got this" Tonisha said giving her a thumbs up
"Yeah you're right" Matsuri said. After shopping for Matsuri's outfit they headed to get some ice cream. Matsuri stared at the arcade for a moment then saw two children playing which reminded Matsuri about her past with Harumin when they were friends. Tonisha noticed Matsuri was staring at the arcade and she looked as well and noticed the two kids
"Matsuri...why are you staring at them?" Tonisha asked
"Oh...well I didn't tell you this but...Harumin and I were friends when we were little" Matsuri said
"Really? How did you two met?" Tonisha asked
"Well the first time we met...uh...well it ended terribly bad. She protected me from bullies but I was pissed off and pushed her then told her I wanted her to die. After that I was walking down the street alone and a car was coming at me...Harumin saved my life e and she got hurt real bad. I wanted to ask her for forgiveness but...her grandmother scold me for hurting Harumin" Matsuri said
"Oh...so what happened after that?" Tonisha asked
"Well...my mother gave me an idea to keep our friendship a secret" Matsuri said
"So you two were secretly friends?" Tonisha asked
"Yeah...sadly her grandmother found out...and...I never saw Harumin again..." Matsuri said and sighed sadly
"But then you met her again?" Tonisha asked
"Well I wanted to meet Yuzu and I found her at the arcade with her. That's when...hehe we started hanging out again" Matsuri said
"And the two of you fell in love?" Tonisha asked
"Yeah...I stole her first kiss back when we were kids" Matsuri chuckled
"What?! You two kissed when you were kids?!" Tonisha exclaimed
"Shhhhhh don't say it out loud" Matsuri said
"Sorry it just surprised me" Tonisha said
"Yeah...I guess I couldn't remember because I was dealing with other situations" Matsuri said
"MATSURI!" Nene exclaimed and ran up to Matsuri hugging her again
"N-nene?!" Matsuri exclaimed
"What are you doing here?" Nene asked
"We're just talking" Matsuri said
"Eh? It's her again...what are you doing here?" Nene asked
"Ah yeah I guess you remember me but I've changed. I'm here trying to help Matsuri on her special date with Harumi" Tonisha said
"You sure you're not lying?" Nene asked
"I promise I'm not. I do want to help" Tonisha said
"Well...alright" Nene said
"Don't worry Nene she's changed" Matsuri said
"Okay then so you have a date with Harumin?" Nene asked
"Yep!" Matsuri said
"Well if she's helping then I'll help as well!" Nene said
"That's great! We can get all the help we need" Tonisha said. Tonisha looked outside while Matsuri and Nene we're chatting. Tonisha spotted Ari again then Ari glared at her which gave Tonisha shivers
"Hey Tonisha you alright?" Matsuri asked
"Y-yeah..." Tonisha said

After hours of working Harumin check her watch and stood up. She shut down her laptop and placed it in her business suitcase and grabbed a few important files placing them inside the suit as well. She grabbed her suitcase and walked out of her office then went inside the elevator heading out. She got out of the elevator and walked to the parking lot going to her car
"Harumin! Wait please!" Sangchul said. Harumin groaned and got inside her car then locked the doors since Sangchul tried to open the car
"Harumin open up. Please just listen" Sangchul said
"No" Harumin said sternly and turned on her car then put it on reverse getting out. She was about to leave but Sangchul was in front of her car
"Sangchul get out of my way!" Harumin said
"Please listen! I beg you! Please!" Sangchul said. Harumin gripped on the steering wheel and got out of her car
"Fine...but please hurry up. I have something important to do..." Harumin said
"Okay so I understand you hate me because of what I did but just give me a second chance" Sangchul said and held Harumin's hand. Harumin started to feel uncomfortable and she felt like slapping him for some reason.
"No...now please just leave me alone" Harumin said. Sangchul leaned in and kissed Harumin. Harumin felt disgusted and she pulled away from him and slapped him hard leaving a red mark on his cheek
"I told you to leave me alone!" Harumin said wiping her mouth and got in her car then drove off immediately. She arrived at the Taniguchi mansion and she got out of her car then entered inside. She saw her grandmother talking on the phone with someone and headed upstairs
"Harumi dear it's Sangchul. He says he wants to talk to you" Her grandmother said
"I don't want to talk to him..." Harumin said and kept walking upstairs heading to her room. She sighed and her phone vibrated then opened her phone seeing a message from Matsuri which was her address. She smiled and felt her heart beat loudly. She sighed and went to the bathroom to take a shower. Harumin blushed deeply and felt her body hot for some reason.
Damnit...this feeling...n-not again

Matsuri was back at her place and was showering while Tonisha and Nene were in the living room watching tv. Tonisha looked worried and sighed
"Hey um...Nene right?" Tonisha asked
"Mhm" Nene said
"I'm not sure about this...but one of Matsuri's friends seem to be planning something" Tonisha said
"What do you mean?" Nene asked
"Her friend is named Ari. I have a feeling she's up to no good...she told me herself that if I'm trying to get them back together...I have to go through her. Then she said she wanted Matsuri to be happy but...with her" Tonisha said
"What?! We need to tell Matsuri!" Nene exclaimed
"Well...I mean if I tried to tell her...I don't know if she'll believe me since the way I acted..." Tonisha said sighing
"We need to at least warn her..." Nene said
"Yeah but...she won't believe me" Tonisha said. After Matsuri's shower she got herself ready for her date. Her heart couldn't stop racing and it was driving her nuts. She heard a knock on her door and she opened it seeing Tonisha and Nene
"Wow! You look so cute!" Nene said
"Hehe thanks" Matsuri said blushing a bit
"You look beautiful Matsuri" Tonisha said. Matsuri smiled then felt her dragons on her shoulders
"Woah...wait Matsuri are those your pets?" Tonisha asked
"Ah this is Gina and Stripes. They're my dragons" Matsuri said
"Wow they look amazing" Nene said and petted them softly.
"Yeah they're pretty cool. Stripes is my new dragon" Matsuri said and held Stripes showing them
"Madam there is someone waiting for you" The maid said knocking on her door
"It's her!" Matsuri said then her dragons vanished and went out of her room
"Tonisha aren't you going to tell her...?" Nene asked
"She's happy right now. I'll probably tell her tomorrow" Tonisha said. Matsuri blushed deeply and walked down stairs with her heart racing fast. Her parents were upstairs and they smiled giving her a thumbs up
"Have fun Matsuri" Her father said. Matsuri smiled and went downstairs heading to the door. She opened it and blushed deeply seeing her beautiful date
"H-hey Harumin you look so beautiful" Matsuri said while blushing deeply
"Thanks you look super cute" Harumin said and blushed. Tonisha and Nene both looked out the window and saw the two love birds leave in Harumin's car.
"HaruMatsu!" Nene said. Tonisha smiled and she sighed looking down as her smile faded and her eyes become worried
Good luck Matsuri...please be safe out there...

"Hey where's our leader?" A guy asked
"I'm not so sure but she didn't came back" A girl said pouting
"She wouldn't ditch us would she?"
"Well she is our leader. She can do what she wants"
While the gang was talking Ari was sitting on the tree and looked up at the stars. She pulled out her phone to call Matsuri but she didn't answer
Why isn't she answering? I thought we were going to hang out today...unless...she's with that Taniguchi...
Ari clenched her fists tightly and let out a low growl. She pulled out her phone and looked at her gallery. She then saw a picture of her young self and a young Matsuri. Ari smiled but that smile slowly faded away
Matsuri...why won't you remember me? Did I mean nothing to you back then? I thought we had something special...why...why...Matsuri please remember...I do want you to be happy but...I want you to be happy with me.
