Chapter 8

Matsuri entered her mansion and walked inside. A maid then walked up to her with a towel.
"Madam...you must shower or else you'll catch a cold" The maid said wrapping the towel around Matsuri
"Um sure..." Matsuri said. Matsuri walked upstairs and saw her grandfather
"Hey Matsuri your parents contacted me and said they arrived. I sent them the address to this place" Her grandfather said
"Oh okay" Matsuri said and walked away. Her grandfather sighed and looked a bit worried about Matsuri
It seems like she had a bad day or something...
Matsuri then walked into her room when she saw a maid come of her bathroom
"Matsuri the bath is ready" She said bowing down
"Thanks" Matsuri said. The maid walked out of her room leaving her privacy. Matsuri groaned and took off her soaked clothes. Her tattoo glowed and Gina appeared
"Oh hey Gina..." Matsuri mumbled. Gina did her small dragon noises making Matsuri smile.
"I guess you saw everything that happened today huh?" Matsuri asked. Gina nodded and gave her a small roar.
"Yeah...I know. Tonisha is probably messing with me. Ari could be telling the truth. Besides it'll be for one day...what could go wrong" Matsuri said as she finished stripping and walked into the fancy bathroom. Matsuri walked to the tub and went inside feeling the water hit her body. Matsuri sighed and let the water refresh her body. Matsuri looked down and closed her eyes as she reached up touching her lips
Tonisha's and Ari's lips...they don't make me feel the same way...as Harumin's lips. Her lips arecuh warmer and softer...her kisses melt my heart
Matsuri opened her eyes again then sighed deeply. After her shower Matsuri walked out of the tub and grabbed the towel drying her hair up. She shook her head flipping her short hair then walked out of the bathroom and saw her clothes on her bed
Oh guess grandpa told the maids to bring my clothes...
Matsuri then grabbed her clothes and started to put them on. Gina was at the window and she started tapping the window with her claws
"What is it Gina?" Matsuri asked. Gina made her dragon noises and Matsuri walked up to the window. She saw a car and two people came out
"Mom and dad are here...." Matsuri mumbled. Gina then crawled up to Matsuri's arm and sat on her shoulder. Matsuri then walked out of her room heading downstairs to see her parents
"Welcome Mr and Mrs Mizusawa. We're glad to have you here" The maid said taking their bags.
"Sweetie!" Her mother exclaimed and went up to Matsuri hugging her
"Hey Mom" Matsuri said hugging her back
"Wow you've grown so much" Her mother said and kissed her forehead
"Yeah yeah" Matsuri said. Gina then stood on Matsuri's head and waved at her parents
"You still have your pet lizard" Her father said and chuckled
"Dad I already told you it's a dragon" Matsuri said. Gina nodded and growled then gave a small roar
"Will that dragon ever grow?" Her grandfather asked
"Hm? I'm not so sure..." Matsuri said and looked up at Gina
It's been years already and she hasn't grown one bit...maybe it's because she's a spiritual animal?
Matsuri's father came up to her giving her a bear hug
"Gosh you don't know how much we've missed you!" Her father said and ruffled her hair
"I missed you too as well" Matsuri said. Matsuri's grandfather then came downstairs and welcomed his son and his wife
"Now Matsuri...tell us what's going on" Her mother said holding her hands. Matsuri sighed and nodded. The family was in the living room and Matsuri explained everything and the reason she wanted to stay. Her mother's expression sadden and worried while her father's expression was filled with anger and hatred. Matsuri then pulled out a mask then placed it on the small table in front of her and explained her Midnight Assassin crew and how she became a leader. She then took off the jacket she was wearing revealing her cuts she has given herself to try and forget Harumin.
"So yeah...that's all you need to know..." Matsuri mumbled. Her mother teared up and she walked up to her and held her arms gently and caressed them. Her father growled in anger and he stood up clenching his fists tightly
"That fuckin old hag...how could she do this?! I'm going to confront her!" Her father shouted
"Dad no! Don't you understand! Harumin is better off without me! She is happy the way her life turned out without me in it! She's a great successor! She is rich! She has a handsome and rich boyfriend! She has everything she needs! She deserves better...." Matsuri said and looked down and teared up.
"It's not your fault..." Her mother mumbled
"H-huh?" Matsuri said and looked at her mother with teary eyes
"It's not your fault...those things she said are not true. You should stop blaming yourself. Harumi saved your life and protected you...because she loves you" Her mother said. Matsuri sighed sadly while looking down
"Matsuri...you still love her? Don't you?"Her mother asked. Matsuri opened her mouth trying to speak but for some reason her voice was gone and nodded instead
"You deserve to be happy too Matsuri..." Her father said
"B-but...that guy I talked a-about...she l-loves him...not me..." Matsuri said
"Have you forgotten..?" Her grandfather asked
"Wh-what do you mean?" Matsuri asked looking up
"A Mizusawa never gives up...so don't give up on love. It's not over" Her grandfather said
"Besides...you could start over" Her father said
"Start...over?" Matsuri asked tilting her head
"Yeah the two of you met since kids. Then met again as teenagers right? Don't you think you two were meant to be?" Her father asked
"W-well...I mean...probably..." Matsuri said
"You could be friends with her again and maybe...she'll remember you" Her mother said
"B-but...I don't want her to remember...what I did to her..." Matsuri mumbled. Her grandfather sighed and walked up to her and patted her head gently
"Stop thinking of the past. You can't change the past. It's time to move forward..." Her grandfather said. Matsuri then stood up and nodded
"You're right. I need to stop thinking of the past and stop blaming myself about all this" Matsuri said
"That's my girl and remember don't give up" Her father said. Matsuri nodded and hugged her parents and her grandfather
"So what are you plan on doing?" Her mother asked
"I'm going to get Harumin back" Matsuri said. Her mother smiled and hugged her. Matsuri smiled and suddenly her phone rang from her pocket
"Hm? Oh it's Sakira" Matsuri said as she grabbed her phone and answered.
"Hel-"
"Matsuri! Let's hang out today!" She heard her friends shout
"Woah alright alright! You don't have to yell" Matsuri said
"Hehe sorry we just really miss you and we want to hang out again like old times" Sakira said
"Yeah" Matsuri said and smiled at her memories with her friends
"Hey let's meet up at Denny's. Can you come right now?" Sakira asked
"Sure" Matsuri said
"Okay see you there!" Sakira said
"Yeah see you guys there" Matsuri said and hanged up
"Were those your friends?" Her mother asked
"Yeah they told me they want to meet up right now" Matsuri said
"Don't worry you can go and have fun with your friends" Her father said. Matsuri nodded and went upstairs to grab her headphones then headed downstairs. She kissed her parents and grandfather goodbye and opened the door
"Thanks for the advice! I really needed that talk!" Matsuri said waving goodbye at her family and headed out the door getting on her motorcycle. She then drove off heading to the place where her friends we're waiting for her. Matsuri felt happy after the talk with her family. She felt confident about getting Harumin back. She arrived at the place and parked her motorcycle and got off
"Matsuri!" She heard her friends say tackling her
"Hey! Get off me guys!" Matsuri exclaimed
"Haha! Sorry we're just really happy to see you again!" Asher said and got up helping Matsuri up
"Jeez you guys seems too happy" Matsuri said
"Of course we are" Lina said. Matsuri sighed and giggled seeing her friends. The gang was back and they all headed to Denny's and walked inside.

Yuzu and Mei waited for Harumin and Nene.
"Ugh...why are they always late?" Yuzu asked
"Probably dealing with something..." Mei said
"Yeah I guess...but Harumin is with her boyfriend of course" Yuzu said. Nene saw her two friends and she was running up to them since she was late but something caught her eye or...someone. She stopped and her eyes widen
"She's back..." Nene mumbled. Yuzu saw Nene standing while looking at a window.
"What the hell is she staring at?" Yuzu asked. Mei just shrugged and they both walked up to Nene
"Hey Nene what are you staring at?" Yuzu asked
"She's back..." Nene mumbled
"Huh?" Yuzu asked
"Matsuri is back!" Nene exclaimed as a bright smile appeared and she ran inside
"Matsuri!" Nene shouted grabbing everyone's attention but didn't cared at all. Matsuri turned around and gasped
"N-nene?" Matsuri asked. Nene went up to her and hugged her
"You're back! You're back!" Nene said excitedly. Matsuri blushed in embarrassment and pushed Nene gently
"H-hey um stop that. Yeah I'm back you don't have to ye-"
"MATSURI!" Yuzu shouted as well. Matsuri's eyes widen and groaned
"Not another one..." Matsuri mumbled. Yuzu hugged Matsuri tightly and kissed her forehead
"Why the hell didn't you tell me you're back?!" Yuzu said shaking Matsuri
"Hey hey hey! Stop that!" Matsuri said then got up and shook her head
"Um maybe it's best to talk outside" Matsuri said
"Why?" Yuzu asked
"She's right. People are staring after your recklessness..." Mei said
"Alright fine" Yuzu said. Once they were out Matsuri sighed
"Now tell us....why didn't you talk to us?! I was worried! I missed you! We all missed you!" Yuzu said
"Calm down jeez...wait you all missed me?" Matsuri asked
"Yes!" Yuzu said
"Of course!" Nene said
"Including Mei?" Matsuri asked. Mei just sighed and nodded
"That's surprising" Matsuri said and giggled
"Hey don't change the subject! Now explai-"
"Yo Yuzucchi! Sorry I'm late!" Harumin said waving at Yuzu. Matsuri's eyes widen and she turned around as her eyes met with Harumin's hazel eyes. Matsuri felt her heart pounding out of her chest and her face turned red immediately seeing Harumin
D-damnit! My heart! Ugh whyyyyyy?!
"Hey Harumin. Don't worry it's okay" Yuzu said. Harumin smiled and she then stared at the short black haired woman that was wearing headphones around her neck
"Hmm? Hey do I know you?" Harumin asked walking closer to her. Matsuri looked up and saw how close their faces were
"U-uh...I er u-um..." Matsuri couldn't speak at all. She felt her heart still pounding out of her chest which made her nervous
"Hehe Harumin this is my childhood friend and my little sister because I always took care of her and she was like a sister to me" Yuzu said
"I'm M-matsuri Mizusawa" Matsuri said
"Harumi Taniguchi but you can call me Harumin" Harumin said
"N-nice to meet you" Matsuri said still blushing
"We've met before haven't we?" Harumin asked still staring at her
"I-I don't think so..." Matsuri said
"Why do you look familiar?" Harumin asked
"I-I'm not s-sure..." Matsuri said nervously. Harumin just shrugged it off and suddenly Sangchul wrapped his arms around her
"Hey babe" He said kissing her cheek making Harumin giggle. Matsuri's eyes widen and she clenched her fists tightly as she felt jealousy. Sangchul was smiling being with his new girlfriend but when his eyes landed on Matsuri that smile faded. Matsuri glared at him and he glared back at her
