I grip my pencil tightly, staring down at the paper on my desk before crumpiling it up and starting a new page. I open my hand to see fingernail marks left from my closed fist.
I sigh.
I stare write down the equations on then board on my new piece of paper and start from the beginning.
Leo puts a hand on my shoulder. "I'll explain it to you after class."
I smile and nod.
"Let's stop by McDonald's after school."
I nod again.
He messes up my hair. "It'll be okay. Just try your best until then."
