Kevin drives me to a small caffe downtown. He gets out of the truck and opens my door. I hop out and he closes it behind me. We walk inside and take a seat.
"So Shay... There's something I have been.... Um.... Meaning to tell you...." Kevin stutters.
"What is it?" I ask, not paying complete attention.
"I... I think.... I think I know who killed your brother."
"What?" I ask. In complete shock. "Who? How?" I ask.
"Well.... Jake got into a bad crowd... As you know... I was kinda part of that crowd for awhile... But when he joined the group there was a kid who was kinda the "leader" of our group...." He pauses.
"And?" I ask.
"Well everyone really liked Jake.... More than the other guy..."
"What was the other guys name?" I ask.
"His name was Max...." He answers.
"I know..." I pause and look at Kevin. "I know that Max killed my brother. I've known all along and so did Jake."
