Scarlet's POV

I was finally here. Where everything started huh? Cedric held my hand and I squeezed his, hoping to feel some comforted.

The great hall was...I don't know. I can't find the right word to describe it. Before I stepped in, my body was shivering from the cold; then suddenly I was filled with a comforting warmth. Looking at the candles dancing into the air, twinkling like the stars. The ceiling was magical. I saw the stunning galaxy view. It got me thinking for a moment, have we emerged to space? Or gone to another world? This wasn't the Hogwarts I'd heard about about before. Sound like a poet, I hope I'm not getting mad haha.

There were 4 long tables, and almost filled with students; wearing robes and small black pointy hats. All of them were smiling, laughing, and whispering. Ghosts were flying around and greet people. My eyes were watching everywhere, at every single detail. I think I might get used to it after all.

So simply...the scene was breathtaking. Cedric already realized amusement of this place. I looked at him and smiled. And again I can see Peter and Aria were looking at me from behind, wondering for sure who was with me; and maybe if I'm going to smack him soon. Whopse, they are getting bad thoughts right now I suppose. But didn't care much. I was still distracted by the beauty of the Great Hall.

Finally, we reach the end of the hall, where the headmaster, professor Dumbledore is sitting at the center, with other teachers were on the sides.

Professor McGonagall asked me to come closer and stay together waiting . She went to get the Hat and replaced chair with stool. Everyone was confused at first and it was a moment of silence. Then it suddenly came alive! And having three holes, two for it eyes and one for it mouth to talk. and the hat began to sing:

"Oh, you may not think I'm pretty,

But don't judge on what you see,

I'll eat myself if you can find

A smarter hat than me.

You can keep your bowlers black,

Your top hats sleek and tall,

For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat

And I can cap them all.

There's nothing hidden in your head
