First I apologise to keep you waiting once again! A short author's note to tell you why I have been inactive since May lately.
Truth be told, I struggle to finish writing Part 2: Rising Tide from Petra's POV. Three more chapters to go before I'm done, on which I've been stuck for a while. Surely, I should have made plans before rushing into writing. Now that I can't seem to figure out how to wrap up this story arc, it messes more often than not with my mind.
A few subplots are hanging loose; eventually, everything will come together! What started out as a challenging story written in first POV has kind of taken its own path. For instance, I was aiming for a science-fiction story woven with fantasy elements, which got lost somewhere down the plot in all honesty!
Nothing I can't fix. Conversely, I'm having a blast writing Part 3: Calling All Angels. I'm currently 10 chapters ahead of where I left the story stalled. I look forward to sharing with you someone's rosy high school tale gone wrong. Finding oneself, (un)reciprocated love and self-doubt are the premises of a long journey through Hell from which nobody will get out unharmed.
Hopefully, it's a matter of weeks until I return to Wattpad, or else it may take longer to overcome this difficult part. It all depends on where I want to take the story from now on, in particular about the mysterious Birdmen. Looking forward to resume on updating!
