Night drapes over New York City like a curtain, the moon replaces the sun and the stars were now added into the mix. The clouds that continue to move around are lighter in colour against the dark navy sky- possibly because of the fact that it had recently rained and that it's going to happen again soon. For now, though it remains to be silent- quite serene actually. That is until you look at what's happening down below.

Bare feet hit the asphalt, splashing into the various of puddles that are laid out like a minefield. My breaths are getting shallow and my hair trails out behind me as I take turn after turn, trying to shake off the enemies that are following me.

If I'm being honest I have no clue as of why they're following me. I had just finished my Aikido training and all I heard were a bunch of yells and next thing I know I'm being chased. Now I like to believe I'm quite a good person so there should be no reason for a bunch of Purple Dragons and their leader- Hun to be chasing me. Especially with this strange blue mist that seems to trail after them.

"After her! She can't escape us!"

I throw a glance over my shoulder seeing that the gang is quickly gaining speed and will soon be biting my heels. The mist, however, continues to snake around the sky, some sort of black smoke coming from.... A head?

I look back ahead, frowning as I try to concentrate on a plan. We're in an abandoned part of New York where rows of broken-down buildings stand; this immediately crosses out my idea of screaming out for help as there will be no one to help me. And I can most definitely cross out fighting as I won't have enough stamina especially since I'm taking a rather lengthy sprint. So that just leaves me with one option; to create a diversion and hide.

Before I can think of a place, a rush of air passes my face along with an outstretched hand. My eyes widen in surprise and I add a burst of speed, zigzagging along just to avoid further attempts at being grabbed. I make yet another sharp turn into an alleyway, hearing the heavy footfalls coming from the strong gang members that keep on trying to pursue me. But not for long. I make another turn and was met with a bunch of boxes stacked along the side. Deciding not to focus on the burning sensation in my calves nor the fatigue that was seeping into my body I kick down the tower and quietly duck under this new stack.

"She can't have gone far, she probably took another turn." Says one of them.

I hold my breath

"We can't lose her." Growls Hun, "if we lose her Master Shredder will kill us. You hear me?"

Murmurs of agreement greet his statement before they went off again.

I wait for a moment before letting out a sigh of relief- pushing the boxes off of me as I slowly sit up.

I would love to stay here and rest, my body being dead tired, but I have to fetch my stuff and make my way back home before my parents could have a panic attack. So with great reluctance, I push myself up and start to make the journey back, but once again I'm interrupted.

The dense mist is in front of me shaping into something. A head forms as the rest of it slims down and other parts stretch out, I can't help but blink out of bewilderment as I notice that with each second that past it became less transparent and appear to be more solid and once it finished taking shape I'm left feeling even more confused and strange.

It's shape.... It's a dragon. A large blue dragon with scales and wings and bright blue eyes; so bright that they look like headlights in the darkness; them emitting their own glow. They entrance me, so mesmerizing that I can't help but step forward to the thing- my arm acting out of curiosity as I reach towards the thing's head. A part of me knew this couldn't be real; it was most obviously the product of a physics experiment involving light however I couldn't help but see this thing as something that was legitimate and real.

I take another step towards the strange projection, curiosity eating away at me as I want to know how such a thing was formed. But with my actions the thing slowly opens it's mouth, a low grumble emitting from it as a large array of smokey and jagged teeth are put on display for me. All of a sudden I feel a wave of warmth overcome me, a shiver crawling down my spine due to the discomforting feel of it.

I continue to stand there, my heart beginning to beat oh so erratically. I watch and observe, now seeing a darkness forming in the mouth of this mist creature. The air around me gradually heating up causing me to sweat even more and thanks to the time I've spent watching Game of Thrones I know what's about to happen.

Instinctively I duck and turn away from the face- shielding my face as I expect it's black shadow to come out in a dangerous column of flames. Instead, a bright green flash presents itself followed by a loud explosive noise. Before I can comprehend what's happening I'm thrown roughly onto the ground, the asphalt grazing my knees the air around dropping back to its22 normal temperature.

Slowly I sit myself up, brushing off any dirt that had gotten onto me. My hands are shaking from that little shock I've just endured. I quickly look around, the mist dragon no longer here which makes me even more uneasy. I then glance down at my hands to see if that flash was anything life-changing. No... My hands are fine... Then I look at the window of the building beside me. Same abnormally bright green eyes and same straight brown hair, seems like I haven't changed into some sort of superhero.

That's good.

Slowly I pick up myself, looking around the area in an uneasy fashion, seeing if anything else strange was going to present itself to me. But once determining the place was safe I slowly then walk out of the alleyway and back to the dojo, silence following me like a cloud; confusing thoughts poisoning my mind.
