CHAPTER 5: FRIENDS

I quietly climbed out of the car and tried not to look at Cad and Sydney knowing it would only make my blood boil to see a girl wrapped around my mate like that.

“Oh Hi Cora I didn’t know you were coming.” She said with a sheepish grin.  Cad looked at me as he held on to Sydney with an expression I didn’t really understand.

“Yah sorry” I mumbled not know what else to say.

“No sorry necessary we are going to have so much fun!” She chimed as Jake and Tom finally came out of the house.

“Hey sexy miss me?” I rolled my eyes as Tom came to stand next to me attempting to put his arm around me.

“Touch me and I’ll kill you perv.” I growled and he quickly dropped his arm back by his side.

“So feisty! I love it!” He purred and I just groaned why did I come? I have never been treated with such disrespect no male back home would ever dare to talk to a female like that.

“Dude stop hitting on her.” Cad growled which earned him curious looks from Tom and Jake and a deathly stare from Sydney.

He quickly saved himself. “Because I mean it looks like she is really going to kill you.” I saw Sydney’s expression softened just a tad but I still couldn’t ignore the glare directed at me. I wanted to slap her, if anyone should be glaring it should be me!

Jake burst out laughing and he came to put an arm around my shoulder “No one would blame you for killing him Cora lord knows we have all thought about it.” I chuckled. I liked Jake he was nice and he wasn’t a perv like Tom.

“Hey!” Tom screeched and I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Cad can you unlock the back so I can get some clothes to change into?” I asked walking to the back of the car.

“Sure” Cad said as he unlocked it.

I felt Sydney walk around the back of the car with me. “That’s a lot of new clothes someone is a shopaholic. Luna get those for you?”  she sneered.

“No Cad took me earlier and no I am not but I needed new clothes since all of mine where destroyed.” I said gritting my teeth.

“You took her shopping?” She mumbled at Cad. “You never go shopping with me!” She growled and I smiled to myself.

“She needed new clothes Sydney.” Cad growled back and Sydney just crossed her arms to sulk. I rolled my eyes grabbing the clothes I needed before walking inside to find a bathroom not waiting for anyone else.

“Bathroom is to the left!” I heard Jake call out and I waived my hand to acknowledge I heard him. I quickly found the bathroom and changed into some white wash jeans and a baby blue and pink plaid button up with a white tank top underneath. I was tying my dark brown boots when I heard a knock on the door.
