Chapter 35

Hiro's POV

Nandito kami sa loob ng Legendary Room— that's what it's properly called. Nakatunganga lang kami, waiting for that Fire and Japs to come in. Nakaupo kami nila Stan sa sofa. Samantalang si Bella ay nasa kwarto na at nagpapahinga.

Ramdam ko ang mga tingin nila sa akin. Ano bang problema nila? Bakit hindi nalang nila itanong di ba?

"Gago ka Hiro, bat ka bumaril?!" Geoff said, breaking the silence inside the room. Agad namang sinundan ito ng kanilang mga ngisi. I hate it.

"Oh, I was there. Bumaril lang naman sya ng lalakeng nagtutok ng baril kay Bella habang kausap ni Bella yung Leila." Asar ni Riley. "Dapat kasi ako ang susunod kay Bella pero naunahan nya ko sa pagpasok. Nagulat pa ko dahil nagsusuot na sya ng gloves nun. Grabe, iba talaga si Sella sayo." Dagdag pa nya at inismiran ako. Lakas din nila mangaasar?

"Gago ka." Sabi ko sa kanya at tinawanan lang nila ako.

"Why cant you just admit it already? Matagal mo nang mahal si Sella, and you cant accept the fact na kung sino pa yung nakaaway mo sya pa ang naging Sella." Sabi ni Geoff.

"Shut up." This conversation is going nowhere.

"Denial." Sabi ni Stan.

"You know she's been and will always be the most special." Sagot ko at inulan naman ako ng kanilang pang-aasar. Kelan ba sila titigil?

Napatayo naman kaming lahat nang biglang pumasok si Fire. "Thank you for saving us." Sabi nya tsaka sya umupo sa sofa na malapit sa kanya.

"How's Japs?" Tanong ni Riley. Bakas sa muka ang pagaalala nya since Japs was one of the jokers. Madami pang miyembro ng Jokers ang hindi namin kilala, masyado kasing malihim si Riley dahil sa kanya inaatas ang karamihan ng mga mission nila Gi.

"He's okay. Pero wala pang malay." Sabi nya at pinagmasdan nya kami nila Geoff. "Go on, alam kong madami kayong tanong."

"Paanong..."

"Paanong naging parte kami ng Legends?" Sabi nya bago pa man matapos ni Stan ang sinasabi nya. "Naatasan kami ni Japs na magspy kay K, unfortunately she trusted me big time kaya napatagal ang pageespiya namin. Dapat ay tatagal lang ito ng isang buwan dahil masyadong delikado pero naging useful ang pagiging stage actress ko kaya tumagal ng ilang taon. I'm sure she wants us dead by now." Sabi nya.

"She was choosen because she knew Gi personally. Japs on the other hand has been kuya Kristoff's training buddy kaya ganun na lamang ang tiwala sa kanilang dalawa." Sabi naman ni Riley, napatango na lamang kami.

"Pero paanong nakilala ka ni Bella?" Sabi naman ni Geoff.

"Sella has been my training partner since we were born. I'm her other half when it comes to combat."

"You know her as Sella?" Tanong ko.

"Yes, and I know you as Jasper." Sabi nya at ngumisi sakin.

"How-"

"You're Bella's best friend and the guy who he adores the most. I remember how she talks about you when we are in training. The thought of you makes her more excited. But it stopped when she recovered from depression. I guess you guys are one of the reason why." Sabi nya at umiling. Natahimik naman kami.

So that's why she's distant from the start until now. That's why she acted like she didnt know us and that she's not Sella. Nasaktan sya because she thought that she was alone, because we didnt replied to her letters then later on found out that her letters was hidden by Jane.

"Asan si Bella?" Napalingon kaming lahat sa nagsalita, it was kuya Kristoff together with the other diregeants, what is going on?

"Kristoff, please." Pigil ni ate sa kanya.

"Not here, Kristoff. I understand your situation but please, please calm down. What you're doing will just make it worse." Sabi naman ni ate Sasha. Nasa gilid nya si kuya Ash na nanatiling tahimik sa nangyayari. Ano ba talagang meron? Bakit nya hinahanap si Bella?

"Utang na loob, Kristoff. Do you think Bella and Gi will like this?" Utas ni Kuya Jiro pero hindi pa din nila mapigil si Kuya Kristoff. He keeps on shouting for Bella.

"Ano?!" Bella said when she got out of her room. Tamad nyang tiningnan si Kuya Kristoff.

"You cant act like that infront of me! I'm still older than you!" Sabi ni Kuya Kristoff, natahimik naman kami dahil duon. Ano bang problema nya? What is Bella's connection to him?

"Why? If you were in my position, you'll act like this way too." Sabi ni Bella.

"We did that for your sake! To keep you safe!" Sabi ni Kuya. Okay?

"Hinayaan nyo kong maniwala sa kasinungalingan? You let me lived miserably tapos sa tingin nyo ayos lang sakin? You hid everything from me tapos akala nyo matutuwa ako? You've got to be kidding me." Sabi ni Bella

"I'm still your brother, Bella!" Sigaw ni Kuya Kristoff.

Her what?!

It has been days since the commotion, the diregeants asked us to shut our mouths about what we have heard. Bella has been staying in her room all day, kahit na may pasok. She's not attending classes, not attending training, and everything else. It's like she have shut down everything outside her room. Hinahanap na din sya samin ni Kylie and we dont know what to say to her. Even Jane, her enemy, is looking for her.

"Hindi pa ba natin kakausapin si Bella? She's been like that for days, hindi ko alam kung nakakakain ba sya ng ayos since she always return her food." Sabi ni Fire. She's been worried for Bella for days. Hindi kasi ito kumakain pag dinadalhan sya ng food. She always say that she's fine, that she doesnt want food.

Dumaan na din dito si Gi but she didnt even got any word from her, her behavior this week is bothersome.

"Bella?" Tawag ni Fire mula sa labas ng kwarto ni Bella. Nilapit nya din ang muka nya sa pinto para marinig ang response ni Bella. "Anong bumagsak Bella? Answer me!" Nagpapanic na sabi ni Fire kaya napalapit din kami.

"Kick the door, Geoff." Sabi ko at ginawa naman nya. Pag bukas ng tuluyan ng pinto, bumungad samin si Bella na nakaupo sa baba ng kama nya, nagkalat rin ang pills pati na rin ang isang blade.
