Simons POV I was in the car outside Talias house for a few minutes now. I was just really nervous and I couldn't figure out why?.. I tried pushing my nerves away and thinking about how amazing it will be to see Talia again, I love hanging out with her.. Even if the last time we saw each other it was a little awkward. I pulled down my shade mirror and ran my hands through my faux(quiff) to fix it. I inhaled and exhaled a deep breath while putting the shade back up then left and headed to her front door. *knock knock knock* "Coming!" I heard Talia yell out. A few seconds later the door opened and there stood a smiley Talia. "Hey!" I went in for a hug. The electricity that ran through me every time we touched, it was enough to make my heart pound 30 time faster. "Hey So how are you?" "Im good, what about yourself Mar?" "Not too bad Minter." "Great to hear Mar." We stood there in a comfortable silence for a few seconds just gazing at each other, I loved every moment. "So shall we go get some pizza?" I said interrupting the staring session. "Of course!" We both giggled as I walked Talia to my car, I opened the door for her and closed it once she got in and made my way to my side.
*skip to getting to the cafe*
We walk into a small warm toned cafe, to my surprise it was pretty empty as it was a usually popular cafe. I glanced my eyes around the cafe and found a small booth in the back of the cafe. I grabbed Talias hand and pulled her towards it as she laughed. We sat opposite each other in an area covered with warm toned lightbulbs and fairy lights that were perfectly lighting up every detail of Talias face. Her smile, her eyes. Oh how much I loved her eyes, I got lost whenever I looked into them. They lit up whenever she laughed, and that was enough to make my heart melt. "Simon?" I looked to see Talia had a confused look on her face, was I daydreaming? "Hey I'm Maia, did you guys want to order anything?" I looked towards Talia and smiled back at the waitress "2 BIG slices of Pizza please" Talia giggled as the waitress wrote it down, "anything else?" "Well i'm okay, Talia you want anything?" Talia looks at me and back at the waitress "No I'm oka-" I cut her off "Talia I'll pay for you you can get anything you want" "No Simon I'm fine hones-" "She'll have a hot chocolate and a slice of cake thank you" Talia looks at me while I watch the waitress write it down. "Anything else?" "No thank you" The waitress walks away and I look back to Talia who is already looking at me. I smile and she laughs "I hate youu" I hear her say while giving me a snarky look. "aww" I reply putting on a puppy pouting face. I look down pretending to be sad as I hear Talia starting to laugh, I laugh to while looking up back at her. I couldn't help but get lost in her eyes again, It was like I could feel her happiness just from looking in them.
Talias POV While laughing I noticed Simon would sit and stare at me with a small smile, that smile that would get all his fangirls going. And I do admit it is really cute. I couldn't help but stare into his eyes as he looked at me. We sat there staring at each other in a comfortable silence, it wasn't like anything i've ever felt before. I felt at peace, like i could sit and stare into those ocean blue eyes. We were interrupted by plates being placed on the table "Here is your 2 pizzas, hot chocolate and piece of cake." we both looked at the pizzas, our mouths drooling at the sight of it, I looked up to see Simon looking back at me. We laughed and thanked the waitress. "Can I just say you both are a really cute couple" She walked off before we got to say anything and we just sat there looking at each other. "Well lets not let the pizza get cold Minty" Simon furrowed his brows while smirking and grabbed his slice "Eat up then Market" We both giggled and ate our pizza while sharing smiles.
Simons POV Once we finished our pizzas I was wiping my hands with a napkin when I was interrupted, "So should we talk about what happened that night" My heart started pounding faster as I was frozen, I looked up at Talia and nodded my head trying to play it off cool. "So what did you want to talk about exactly" I placed my arms under the table fiddling with my ring as thats what I did when I got nervous. "Well.. you were drunk and we were in your room.. do you remember what happened Simon?" I looked up at Talia, I could see in her eyes that she was nervous. I hated that she looked so worried about what I would say. "Uh..yeah.. I remember well." Talia looks at me I felt the nerves again. "Simon you told me something that night.. And i've not been sure whether you said it because you were drunk or not.. if you remember it.. does that mean you meant it?" I started scratching the back of my neck nervously as I replied "yeah.. I meant every bit of it" She looked back at me with a sign of relief. My eyes only focused on hers, hers only on mine. I glanced down at my ring while fiddling. "I like you too Simon" I looked up at her, her eyes lit up like before. I could feel a slight smile forming on my face. I saw she was beginning to smile too, but she bit on her bottom lip to keep the smile from being too obvious. "Look Talia I know its sudden but.. did you want to give this a try?" Talias eyes widen while hearing what I said, "What are you saying Simon?" I grab her hands from the table and place them firmly in my palms. "Im asking you to be my girlfriend." I could feel the electricity running through my body from the connection of our hands giving me a boost of confidence. "Of course we can give it a go Simon" Both our faces light up, I begin to rub my thumbs on the top of her hands.
