About 25 minutes later Layton arrived. Max came soon after. Once he walked thorough the door he went to Ali and whispered something in her ear and she smiled.

"Secrets don't make friends." Layton said all sassy.

You laughed and he smiled.

"Hey want to play Truth or Dare?" Max suggested suddenly.

"Yeah." You, Layton and Ali said.

After about 20 rounds of it you guys started to get tried but decided to finish the round.

"Okay, Layton," Max said. "T or d?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to kiss Kyrn on the lips for 30 seconds."

"Ah, ummm okay." He said slowly getting up.

He grabbed your hands and pulled you up. You looked into his eyes as he leaned in. Your lips met and he put his hands on your waist. You started thinking about Danny and you suddenly felt sparks.

"No," you said to yourself. "I can't have feelings for Danny."

Just as you finished he pulled away.

"You okay?" Layton asked with his hand on your shoulder.

You nodded and sat back down.

"Okay, Ky, truth or dare?" Layton asked.

"Ah, dare." You said.

"Ummm play us your recentest voicemail."

You pulled out your phone and set it back down once you put your voicemail inbox on speaker.

"Kyrn, it's Danny."

You froze realizing you never listened to his voicemails.

"I just wanted to say, I'm sorry about what happened earlier. Paul told me that you're over at Ali's for a couple days. And man," he sighed. "I'm just so sorry. It didn't mean to come out. I was just so stressed about Kimmie that I totally forgot there's just some things that have to stay a secret. Like I've said, I'm sorry and can't wait for you to come home so we can talk."

You grabbed your phone and turned it off. You looked up and your friends that had confused looks on their faces. You bolted up and ran up stairs towards Ali's guest room.

You slammed the door close and slid down the back of it putting your head in your hands.

"I'm such an idiot." You thought.
