Don't Let Me Go

Chapter 3

"You what?!" You asked surprisingly.

"I like you Kyrn." He said and tried to grab your hand but you pulled it away.

"This can't be true." You said putting your face in your hands.

"Don't worry, Ky, it's true." He said.

You looked at him then ran out of the room quickly.

"So, how is he?" Paul asked.

"In love." You said sitting down next to him.

"I know how he feels." He said and nodded.

"No like in love with someone new." You said.

"With who?" He said with a confused look on his face.

"Me." You whispered.

"What?" He asked with disbelief.

"It's me."

"You? As in Kyrn our best friend of like 13 years?" He said.

"Yes, Paul." You said.

He grabbed you and pulled you only his lap cradling you in his arms.

"I don't know what to do." You whispered into his chest.

Paul stroked your head and whispered, "I don't ether."

"I don't want to be the bad guy and tell him that we're just friends or be the good guy and tell him that I go out with him even thou I don't like him." You said.

"Kyrn, listen. I bet he only said that to get Kimmie off his mind. Just give him some time and maybe instead of staying here, just go to Ali's house for a few days." He said.

You nodded and got up.

"Do you want me to drive you?" He asked getting up too.

"Sure. I need someone right now." You said.

"Go get your stuff." He said and grabbed his phone.

Once you headed out of our shared apartment with the boys Paul drove you to your best friend Ali's house.

"Are you going to be okay?" Paul asked pulling into her driveway.

"Yeah I think." You said.

"If you need anything or want me to pick you up, just call." He said. He leaned over and kissed your cheek and You got out.

I went to reach the doorbell but my phone started vibrating. I rang the doorbell and pulled it out quickly. You checked the name and your heart quicken.
