okay so I posted a chapter called passing, and i am afraid that its going to be used in an alternate context.
My maternal grandmother still have both of her parents. But for my great-grandfather, he's getting worse.
His brain stem has shut down bc of a stroke. Your brain cells don't regenerate or heal, so he's basically brain dead.
Except he can hear us, so he isn't brain dead.
Update: He passed later on today. I guess it was bc we said goodbye??
WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE TO DIE?
