"Sorry for being a cockblock again." I winced as Jace and I entered Magnus'. I held onto my burning hand, my teeth clenching absentmindedly in pain.

"Don't you people have phones?" Magnus asked as he and Alec walked towards us, I gave him a sarcastic grin but it vanished as soon as another spark of pain ignited in my hand.

"We need your help." Jace said as panic laced his voice, I watched as the burn started to spread further down my hand, the pain only getting more and more intense as time ticked by. This fucker better bloody help me.

Magnus quickly grabbed onto my good hand and dragged me over to the sofa, pushing me down to sit. "Give me your hand." He demanded as I hesitantly reached up and let him take it.

Jace rushed over and sat beside me, taking my good hand in his. Alec was standing there, watching as Magnus started to check my hand with his magic.

"La Chair Brûlée." Magnus muttered as he stopped what he was doing, my eyes flickered down to my hand before looking back up at him. "I'm totally guessing that's not a dessert."

"It means "The burnt flesh". It's an old blood oath spell." Magnus continued,
I lowered my hand slowly, trying to not cause anymore pain. But I fucking know....I'll still feel pain...Clary's fault, that ginger biscuit.

"Then it must me Iris." Alec stated the obvious as I rolled my eyes. "No shit Sherlock." I remarked, sending him a playful glare, Alec chuckled lowly. "Only because you owed her a favor, Ari."

"It's Clary's fault that this is happening to me." I scoffed, leaning back on the sofa. "But yeah, at Max's party, she said I have to find Madzie."

"Then we better start looking." Magnus exclaimed as I groaned, I really don't feel like doing anything right now, I'm actually really hungry and feel like I'm about to start my fucking period soon. "I can get rid of the pain, but that's about it." Magnus continued as Jace began to rub my back tenderly. "I'm afraid once the magic reaches your heart." He trailed off.

Hold the mothershoving phone, is this glittery fabulous man saying that I will basically die if I don't find this Warlock child? I swear to the angle that I will make my last meal last, because I probably won't be getting another one. Because I'm lazy "So, are you implying that if I don't find this bloody child, I'm going to die?"

"No." Jace shook his head before he stood up "No. Magnus, there has to be a cure. There has to be something we can do to stop this."

"Can't we force Iris to undo it?" Alec asked, worry glazing over his eyes.

"I wish it were that easy." Magnus replied, I felt tears blurring my sight as I blinked rapidly, trying to make them go away, only for one rebel tear to fall down my cheek. Big fucking disappointment. "But blood oath spells are completely binding, even Iris herself can't reverse it now."
