Part One: Angelie

Dear Camilla,

Has it ever occurred to you that I may be busier than you? I was out-of-state, modeling for the Youth Art Talent Center. The hotel did not have a password-secured wireless internet connection, so I decided against emailing to lower the risks of identity theft.

Actually, “girly” is as you would put it, not I. I would call it a “feminine.” So, you do not have many friends at school? That is saddening. You have my utmost empathy and sympathy for your inconvenience of social ability due to “roughness”. (“JK”, as I must put it.)

Actually, both of my parents are half German and half French. The rest is to be a great meal for the wide, unending hunger of your imagination.

The barbers’ tools are gurgling into the acidic compounds of your imagination’s stomach.

“Angelie” is indeed a very original name, as my parents invented it. My father wanted to call me “Angel” while my mother wished to name me “Elisa”. Of course, I was born, and the nurse was a very busy and demanding nurse, so my parents came to the decision that I was to be called “Angelie Eloise”.

You are very close, keen observer. Actually, I do not have a “gushing side”, as you call it, but a childish side as well as a very mature, business-like side. The rest? You know the answer to that.

Precisely: this is why you will be the first to experience the food, water, oxygen, and social activities of the Martians. Your mission has been stated, Agent C; please continue with your orders and converse on realistic topics with your pen-pal partner.

In the picture that I previously attached to you, I am not donning any make-up, although I am in a dress (you would know if you could see below my shoulders), for it was at the YATC’s 25th Anniversary and I was not in the celebration musical, as I had to attend Carol’s (Simon’s sister’s) wedding beforehand.

There are only six girls in the “Blondies” group? And all six of them decided to bleach their hair?

*Post-Script*: I would be surprised if you could tell me how many freckles you had. It is a very rare talent to be able to count. (“JK”, as it was crude humor.)

Thank you. Your hair color is a very pretty color as well.

Actually, I am not in possession of any social networking account either, although my parents allow it as well. I find them too difficult to manage, as identity thieves and stalkers put together the bits of information that you leave lying about the website. I prefer email.
