1. Is that a hammer?

"Guys! Come down! We're having a meeting!!" I said as I placed the backpack on the sofa with a sighed. 

Blast somehow managed to convince Midnight to wait another week before starting the rankings hoping that Shadow wakes up, but that didn't happened and it worries me so much. Right now I couldn't care less about this stupid rankings because I'm only thinking about her, but if we don't do something to stop or at least delay them she wont have a true chance to fight for her spot.

Yeah, if she wakes up in the first place. I don't like to ruin your whole spirit, but there is a chance for her to not wake up at all.

And what do you suggest, huh? To just let the ranking take place without her? Yes, there is a chance for her to not wake up, but there is also a chance for her to wake up. Snow said that she is making progress, slowly but she does. And I'm not going to stay and do nothing when I clearly have something to do to stop them.  

I wasn't trying to tell you to do nothing. I was telling you to keep in mind that she might not wake up. I know you care about her, but you have to think about the negative side too. That's what a true leader does: thinks about both positive and negative sides of the situation. 

I sighed again. I know, I'm sorry. I got a little worked up during the past week and I'm just worried about everything, even about the rankings. The main team is actually good and I can't believe that no one said a think about them until I asked around about them. I even heard that their leader is a little psycho.

Is that a good thing?

For us, probably no. For Shadow, definitely no. 

"Dude! You spaced out again!" Hazel said as he pulled me out of my trace by waving his hand in front of my face.

I shook my head. "Sorry. I was just thinking about tomorrow."

"Oh. Well, a thing is sure." he said as he placed one foot on the coffee table. "This sexy motherfucker is going to kick some asses and is going to delay this stupid competition as much as he can."

Leaf mimicked his action and puffed his chest. "This sexy and smart homie is going to do that too. I don't know how I'm going to delay a whole competition, but I'll do it. Wait!" 

"What? Did you come up with a plan?" I asked, but by the look on his face he surely didn't.

"Pff. No. I'm not a strategy genius like other people from this room. The only plan I had was to blackmail him with his porn magazines, but we found none. None! Can you believe that?" Leaf said being his overdramatic self.

The temperature in the room suddenly raised along with Flame. "I swear on Hell's flames, if you don't shut up unless you have something smart to say I'm going to bake your 'sexy and smart' ass." 

During this past week, I wasn't the only one brought to the edge of going into a rampage. Everyone was and still is worried about Shadow as much as I am, maybe even more since she is his sister after all. Poor Sky cries every single time he visits her and my heart breaks a little at that sight. 

Leaf raised his eyebrows. "Now that was rude and I think that you're just jealous of my beautifulness and I was going to say that I found this" he raised a paper in the air "and by the looks of it, I think it's the schedule for the rankings. You can thank me later muscle pig." he said and shoved the paper in Flame's face. 

I like this guy. Sassy and classy.

'The muscle pig' sighed. "I'm sorry, Leaf. You did a great job and I'm sorry for snapping at you."

"It's okay. You can't make everyone like you anyway. I know that you're stressed and worried, but all of us are. "

"That's right. All of us are tired, worried and stressed, but for now we have to concentrate on this task which is operation Wreck and Win. Wreck the ranking by delaying them as much as possible and then we have to win our own match which appears to be more problematic than I thought. " I fished a folder out of my backpack. "We're fighting against Team Zeus. Their teams are named after deities and since they are their number one, their name is Team Zeus.  Eight members, all of them Dark royals. They have one of each elements except Water, Starshooter and Lightning bolt."
