Edward's pov

I yawned at stretched, still in my bed. I looked to my right and Chase was missing. I walked out of my room and saw her sitting in front of the television.

"Chase?" I asked, confused. She didn't even blink. "The television isn't on, Chase." She remained motionless. I walked in front of her and saw her cheeks coated in tears. "Chase, what's wrong?" I asked, kneeling down so my eyes were level with hers.

"Edward, do you remember what I told you? That you died in my dream?" Chase calmly asked.

"Yes, of course I do." I said, wondering where this was going. She pulled a gun out from under her thigh and back handed me with it. I landed on the floor a few feet away from the couch. She marched over to me and straddled my chest. "Chase?!?! What the hell are you doing?!"

I sat up in my bed, breathing hard. I looked at the time, 3 in the morning. I dropped my head back on the pillow, rubbing my face with my hands. It was silent in the room, aside from Chase's soft snoring next to my ear. I grabbed her and fiercly pulled her close to my body. She wrapped her arms around my torso and began snoring again. I closed my eyes and fell asleep, thinking of how deeply I'm in love with the woman sleeping in my arms.

"Well, well, Eddie. Can't keep your hands to yourself, even in your sleep, huh?" I heard when my eyes shot open. I saw none other than Selina Kyle standing by my dresser.

"Selina, what are you doing here?" I asked, yawning.

"I'm going to take Chase shopping. Problem?" She asked, crossing her arms. I shook my head.

"Kitty!" I heard Chase's sleepy voice yawn. Her beautiful blue eyes fluttered open and looked into mine. "Morning, Teddy. Quite the tangle, huh?" She said, smiling. I nodded, looking at our long, twisted limbs. We both laughed and blushed.

"Well shit. You guys are adorable. Why didn't you tell me you were dating?" Selina asked, raising an eyebrow. I sat up in my bed and quickly detangled myself from Chase, falling out of bed as I did. I quickly stood up, dusting myself off.

"Oh no, no. We aren't dating. Never will date. You're crazy." I rushed, not looking at either girls.

"Sorry I'm so damn replusive. You aren't exactly what I want in a partner either. Why don't I just go apartment hunting somewhere else?" Chase said, glaring at me. I looked at her, her legs tangled in the sheets, her disheveled hair, her piercing blue eyes staring daggers into my heart. I wanted, needed, longed for her. "Well, Edward?" I felt like I was stabbed when she called me Edward in such an angry tone.

"Do as you wish, Ms. Sage." I choked out. I turned towards the door to exit the bedroom and walked quietly out that door and into another, my office. I locked the door behind me and sat down in my chair. I put my head in my hands, and felt a tear fall down my cheek.

*Am I the only one that wants to hug Teddy? I know this is sort of out of Edward's character, but my entire story sort of it. That's just the way I like it :)*
