14 - i'll catch you if you fall

Jennie and Lisa, still ditching, still figuring out where to go..

Meanwhile at a whole different school..

"I think I'm going to ask him out." Jungkook said, taking a bite of his sandwich.

"What was his name again?" Jin asked.

"Jimin." Chaeyoung smirked, "He's cute too."

"Hey!" Jungkook said, "He's my boyfriend not yours!"

Chaeyoung took a bite out of her baby carrot. "You haven't even asked him out yet." She said.

"I will." Jungkook said with a nod, "But for now he's still my boyfriend.. he just.. doesn't know it."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." Chaeyoung said, plopping another carrot in her mouth.

"There's the ice cream shop, park, mall." Jennie said, giving Lisa ideas for where they should go.

Lisa sat in the car thinking. Life is so weird.

"The park?" Lisa asked.

"You want to go to the park?" Jennie asked as she made a turn in the direction of the park.

Lisa nodded, "You're crazy."

"Me?" Jennie asked, acting fake shocked.

"Yes, you." Lisa said.

"I don't see how." Jennie said, "I just want to have a little fun."

Lisa raised an eyebrow at her as the pulled into the parks parking lot.

There were slides, swings, monkey bars, it was basically a regular neighborhoods park.

Lisa got out of the car with a smile.

As did Jennie.

"So, where to princess?" Jennie asked, realizing what she just said.

Lisa just smiled and blushed at the nickname.

"Swings." She said with a nod.

Lisa made her way over to the swings but Jennie went to the monkey bars.

Lisa sat down and started swinging as Jennie completed the monkey bars.

"I can't do that." Lisa said.

"Monkey bars?" Jennie asked.

Lisa nodded, "Never been able to."

"C'mere." Jennie said.

Lisa stood up from the swing and walked through the sand.

"If you're thinking of making me do that—" Lisa started.

"That's exactly what I'm going to make you do." Jennie said smiling.

"Hell no." Lisa said, "I'll fall on my ass."

"Lisaaaa." Jennie hummed, "Try it, please."

Lisa frowned at Jennie, she looked up at the monkey bars.

"You're insane." Lisa said before stepping onto the step that led to the first bar.

She bit her lip, hesitating, looking at the monkey bars.

She looked over to Jennie who gave her an encouraging smile.

She grabbed the first bar with both hands.

She sighed and let her body fall. She held her body up.

"Jennie, I'm gonna fall!" She exclaimed.

"I got you." Jennie said as she put two hands on Lisa's waist, so incase she falls, she can catch her and she held her up.

Lisa reached over to the next bar with one hand.

"Jennie." Lisa said worriedly.

"I'll catch you if you fall." Jennie said.

Lisa nodded and gained more courage from those words, she swung her other arm to the next bar. Jennie's hands still on her waist.

Then the next bar, and the next bar, and the next bar, and the next bar, and the next bar.

Hands still on her waist, still on her waist, still on her waist, still on her waist, still on her waist.

Until she did it.

She smiled at Jennie.

"I did it!" She said happily, truth is, she's never been able to do the monkey bars, so this was a huge milestone.

Jennie smiled at her, "I know."
