Love and Betrayal ending

  Oscar gasped, clutching his chest with wide eyes. The shock gripped him tighter than the pain.
"Y-y-you shot... Me..." Blood oozed from him slowly, staining his clothes. He dropped to his knees, life fading from him slowly. Kaeth took a deep breath, getting down onto her own knees and wrapping her arms around him in one last embrace.
"Kaeth, you can heal me, please heal me. Don't let me die, I swear I'll do anything to live."
Not a sound from the timestress, not one word to answer his pleas. Not even a movement to suggest she heard his begging. Begging that soon faded into one repeated word. Please. Kaeth held him until the room once again fell silent. Only then did she shed a tear.
