Nyarai's POV

I crunched up the sticky note and shoved it in my pocket but not before Dan saw it.

"It's from them isn't it?" He sighed.

I nodded "of course, no one else would do something so pathetic."

I glared across the room at them. They, in their big group of girls that looked exactly the same, giggled thinking it was so funny.

Alexis walked over to us "Hey what's going on?"

Dan quickly pulled her aside and explained the situation. Alexis' expression quickly changed to one of determination and crept over to me once she was filled in. She placed her hand on my shoulder "so what are we going to do?"

"Wait until they clear off firstly," I turned back to my locker and gestured for Dan and Alexis to do the same.

Once we heard them leave, throwing taunts at me like "stupid bitch" and "slut". Which I found to be pretty ironic coming from them. But I held back my laughter. Alexis wasn't as strong, she giggled a little. Tried to calm herself. Then burst into a fit of giggles, she lent into her locker pressing her face into her bag to try to stop herself. Dan and I both suppressed chuckles just watching her.

They finally cleared off leaving only the regular people behind. Alexis and Dan followed me across the hall to their lockers.

"You want to get into them?" Dan asked leaning forward to look me in the eye on my right.

I nodded and Alexis did the same on my left "how are you going to do that?" she asked.

I looked at the locks "Well it's probably something really simple."

I fiddled with the first lock. I turned the first number and click, it swung open. I smiled back to them and they both laughed. The next one was 1 2 3 and the next was 0 0 0 which from memory was the factory setting. Some of them weren't even locked and the rest that were were as easy as that. Very quickly Dan, Alexis and I were standing in front of a wall of open lockers.

"That was too easy," Alexis muttered

"Now what?" Dan asked.

I pulled a pen out of my pocket and broke it in half opening up the ink. I had to be careful to not get it on my fingers but I located Monique's and Beth's lockers. They were the ring leaders so they deserved the worst.

On their black books I ran the broken pen up and down oozing ink all over that couldn't be seen. It would dry down quickly but on a wax surface like a book it would come off with heat and rubbing, for example when someone picked up their books and walked to class.

The rest of the lockers I did nothing to.

I stood back and gave a little nod.

"What have you got planned for the rest of them?" Alexis asked, way too excited.

"Nothing," I said simply and her face lit up with suggestions bubbling up beneath the surface but I spoke over her "trust me. When they come back to see that their lockers are all open they will think something much worse has happened like something is stolen and they will freak out about it."

I walked over to the bin to throw out the broken pen while Alexis thought it over.

"That's smart but how to we stop other people from actually stealing from their lockers?" Dan asked.

He was right, I thought it over, until finally "I have a plan. We stay here and watch over the lockers to make sure nothing happens to them and then when the girls come back we walk away. Then their stupid minds won't get confused and think someone else did it."

"Good idea, recess in the hallway though..." Alexis looked around "at least it's quiet."

We pulled out our snacks and sat in a little circle.

"So this is all because of Cale?" Alexis asked, Dan went quiet.

"Yeah pretty much, very petty isn't it?" I replied.

"He's highly sought after... like dude I thought we were all over that petty stuff we're in year 12 or last year and they are still pulling that? Pathetic."

Dan spoke up "You're only tutoring him anyway it's not like it means anything."

I nodded "I'm not about to steal him away from his popular group. I'm helping him pass a class."

Even though I said that I could feel that it mean more than that. There was some kind of cosmic greater reason for us to be paired together. I could feel some kind of connection to him. But I couldn't say it out loud, it sounded insane.

Eventually everyone start pouring back in, giving strange looks toward the Beauties' lockers. We all shared smiles. The beauties were the last to come in but when they did they were outraged.

"My Dior lipstick was in there!" Monique screamed.

Then she laid eyes on us.

Books in hands and broad smiles on our faces we walked off.

They could slip as much paper as they wanted into my locker, I had an actual code on it so there was no way they could open it so easily.

I bested them this time.

Meow Myths,

Sorry it's been so long! But I have returned to you, I missed this book but I was super busy sewing a cosplay. I promise to get another update out on Friday or possibly tomorrow. For you americans that means Thursday or Wednesday.

This chapter was just a fun little one with Nyarai. Doesn't really have too much to it but I enjoyed it.
